LoL It's called a "sexy witch", it has feathers around the end of the sleeves, neck line, on the edge of the hat and ties up at the front. YAY! lol When I was looking at it a co-worker got all pervy and said, "you could even use that after halloween, hint hint" lol some people....sigh.....anyways. Last year I took my younger cousins out to trick-or-treat and scored some candy myself! Bonus! But this year I want to give out candy since my mom stopped the past few years because she has a Halloween party. I love seeing all those kids get excited, and freaked out. lol We go all out to decorate the yard, the house, everything, it's such a smashing good time. Haunted houses are starting up soon too.... :-O ooooooooh! | |

The parents are always at the end of the driveway shivering from the cold.
Later on during the evening older kids come and I swear some of them are even taller than me. | |

What we used to bag was 75 lbs. of heavy-duty expensive chocolate bars, enough to re-stock a 7-11...lol. The apples & "other crap" we used to turf. Being a little wiser nowadays, I appreciate the apples and pay dearly for them at the Supermarket, and pass on the chocolate Bars altogether. But then, it was all a different story...lol | |

We rarely got candy bars, we were in heaven if we got a bag of chips!
I was trick or treating quite a few years earlier though so apples were still important. My parents used to get a bushel of them to pass out. You had to watch out for flying apple cores in your travels those days. gosh it was so much frun!  | |

Reason 1: Annoying kids
Reason 2: Wont that d*mn doorbell ever stop ringing
Reason 3: I always get sick on Halloween despite my strong immune system
Reason 4: I never really go to parties and such so I always have a boring time.
Maybe its my own fault but I really am not looking forward to it. I also dont like candy much. Odd isnt it. Must have to do with the fact that I get sick on Halloween more often than not and thus it is very unnapealing. If anyone is in SLC, Utah invite me to your party!
Im hoping that maybe my friends and I can get together have a few drinks, play darts, and watch Clive Barker's Hellraiser Series. | |

If anyone cares to have some fun and wants to have a very unique comedy video collection, film the kids that come knocking at the door, and have them say and do all sorts of awkward things. Aside from the fact that they love to be teased and often leave laughing afterward, you could end up with some awsome footage. | |

Posted: 9/28/2004 11:58:24 PM | Lots of cities have "Haunted Walks"....a guide telling ghost stories of various buildings in the area, and visiting them. They have them in Montreal and Quebec City, Toronto...all kinds of places.
One here in Quebec, on the other side of the river features a woman who poisoned her hubby (Seems she was beaten often by him.....)
and was left to die and her body to rot in a hanging cage....ppl say you can still hear her on foggy nights and see a ghostly image hanging in a tree near the shore.
One Halloween a group went around town with flaming torches, singing their lungs out...it was funny! They were following a guy dressed as Frankenstein and they were the townsfolks.... | |

Posted: 9/30/2004 12:28:08 PM | i love seeing the little kids in their costumes...they're soooo cute...but my house only getz about 3 kids each year =(....there are a lot of kids that go in the neighborhood...itz just that i live right across the street from a large court or circle of rich folks...so thatz where all the kids go...they go around there and then go to the couple of houses that are right outside the circle...they'd have to cross the busy street to get to our house...so i guess thatz wutz keepin em away...
maybe i'll get my family to move just so we can get more trick or treaters lol | |
