1) stupid men (smart men are a turn on and I don't mean the ones who think that they are smart)
2) smelly men (wear a nice cologne... shower just before a date)
3) bad breath (you may not realize it so brush, floss and bring gum)
4) cheap men
5) men who smoke (socially, occaisionally, etc... smoking is smoking and it is a complete turn off!) | |

2-don't know how to dress (the 80's are over my sweetheart...put away those jeans with holes in the knees...)
3-don't know how to behave in public (the little fork is for the salad! and please refrain from burping)
4-Body odor...(but hold on the Cologne baby!!..just a nice clean smell will do)
5- Being rude to others ( especially the Wait staff..it does say a lot about the person)
6- No clue about what is going on about the General News around the world...geesh....
um...who is the Prime Minister?....what is the state of our country right now?...

well a big one for me is the walrus mustache, or that lamb chop look. mustaches and facial hair in general doesn't look all that good on most men.
also, men who don't seem to care about thier appearance at all...
or try to compensate for baldness on top by growing it long in back. yuck (bald is okay... think yul brenner!)
it is also a big turn off when a guy is wearing flip flops, cargo shorts that are about three sizes too big that come down past his knees, and then tops it off with some ripped up t shirt with some beer logo on it. also, if he manages to stuff as much crap into his pockets as possible that is a good look too. if he is really loud and yells "whooo hooo!" alot when he is standing right next to you at a bar...that only seems to reinforce the fact that even though he has been out of college for a while, he never really "graduated."
white tennis shoes with jeans that he bought 15 years ago.. especially if they are hiked up really high, with a t shirt neatly tucked in for effect.
that distressed brown leather bomber jacket that he bought in the 80's? yeah, that is a great look especially if he is really a medium and the jacket is a size XXL.
now, on the flipside, there are also the guys who take WAY too much "pride" in thier appearance. for example, men who use way too much hair product, get manicures, pluck thier eyebrows (getting rid of the uni brow is okay of course), and work out too much (guys, you dn't have to be perfect). sometimes, these guys, if they are white, also think being really really tan is still "in." i mean, it is one thing to get a tan because you are outside all the time, playing golf, sailing, etc. but when a guy goes to the tanning booth all the time too, it's a real turn off. think george hamilton, and think melanoma...
men who talk about how much money they make as if they are trying to impress you, then ironically comment in the next breath how women are only after thier money. it is also especially ironic when they don't really make all that much money, or have the spending habits of the federal government.
men who have bad manners, poor etiquette in a restaurant, and have the culinary pallette of a teenager. (on a date once, a guy actually asked me, " what do they mean by 'a whore's dover' ?)
it's a turn off when guys have children and don't spend time with them, or don't pay child support AT ALL. (e.g.: i went out on a date with a guy once who had a brand new jeep cherokee and a brand new corvette, then later on in the evening mentioned that he owed thousands of dollars in back child support for a daughter that he hadn't seen in well over a year. big turn off, big red flag.)
it's a turn off when guys are too obvious about oggling another woman when you are out on a date. guys, if i see an attractive guy i am going to look too, but i am going to have enough respect for you that you won't ever see it.
bad grammar is a big turn off. we all make mistakes, but saying "broke" when you should be saying, "broken," is not a mistake.
verbal abuse, name calling, or flipping off some slow poke as you race past is a real turn off...especially when the person you flipped the bird to turns out to be an elderly person and they eventually pull up right next to you at the next red light....
bigotry... swearing loudly in a public setting...

Online player turned out to be married (wife felt the need to call me and cry on my shoulder...sigh);
One man that actually tried to "pimp me out." Yeahhhhhh, that was weird. Really weird.
