What's your favorite cheater meal?

An hours drive isn't too bad. I used to do that for work every day. I'm not big into noisy bars either but I do enjoy good live music and I caught a comedien at a bar the other night. That was fun. It wasn't that smokey either. I'll take noise over smoke.

I shouldn't stray of the topic. I don't want to get in any trouble here.

Robin, about the meatloaf, just prepare it as usual and shape it to fit your crockpot. It does turn out juicier than in the oven but I think thats what I like about it. Once my oven broke around Thanksgiving so I made my turkey in the crockpot...it was soooo good I've done it a couple of times since. It frees up your oven too for other side dishes too. Btw, I do have an oblong larger crockpot so a small turkey fits.

Here's something I'm throwing together right now. I've been up since four and I really din't want fast food, nor did I want to cook anything, yet I need something for dinner and for lunch tomorrow. So I did a 5 minute run through Meijers.

Simple Baked Ravioli

1 Bag and a half of frozen Ravioli (either beef, Cheese or half and half)
2 Jar and a half of favorite Spaghetti Sauce (or like me, whatever was 2 for 1, I think it was Neumann's own today)
3 Bag of grated Mozzarella Cheese
4 Grated parmesan cheese

Anything else you may have in your fridge (in my case it was half a jar each of olives and mushrooms, plus half a tub of Feta cheese.)

Preheat oven to 350 deg.

Spray or oil bottom and sides of a casserole pan or large baking pan.

Pour half a jar of sauce in bottom of casserole, sprinkle about a third to a half of the mozzarella cheese on sauce. Dump in the Ravioli and anything else you have, cover with remaining sauce. Toss to coat raviolis with sauce. Top with cheese.

Cover casserole with lid or baking pan with tinfoil.

Bake 35-40 minutes.

Bob's your uncle!
