| Thoughts of Winter Posted: 8/30/2008 9:31:40 AM | Errr. and the change from warm to not so warm happens when????
Cold is having liquid Nitrogen casually spilled on your foot whilst you (dickhead time) are wearing sandles..at work..on a Saturday.. and you.. are the****ead who is doing the spilling and the wearing.. Skill..
Hot is wearing a UK winter suit from Moss Bros to a Job Interview in Perth WA when the outside temperature is 49 degrees C... Like V. V.V. Hot bath water and the Company's Air Con is dead.... Sweet (ok so Sweat.. but sweet never the less)
I love winter.. I get my winter shorts out of the wardrobe and my winter short-sleeved shirts and I buy a new fleece. This year I might even buy a new pair of sandles as the velcro is tired and the sole is nearly worn through. I even have three Brollies stolen (Borrowed) from work.
In fact, I have given up caring what the weather is going to be as it is only the weather now that affects me and I like it whatever.
Ruffy,
Picking up speed.... | |

Your thoughts on how that time of year makes you feel would be appreciated.
It would certainly make me feel the cold. *brrrrrrr* And make me look forward to the summer.
Must find my old jumpers to wear on top of my other jumpers to keep warm as energy prices have gone up.

| Thoughts of Winter Posted: 9/3/2008 8:10:48 PM | I'm not really bothered about the winter weather as long as the women are still hot and they know where the kettle is so I can keep my feet up.
I have noticed it getting dark a bit early but as long as it don't rain then i'm happy.
Hope it snows though,love it.
Has anyone missed me? | |

| Thoughts of Winter Posted: 9/3/2008 11:03:21 PM | | dude/2,what a beautiful description.I could almost picture it in my mind. Its just the cold i dislike.I feel the cold terribly!I have a great love though of nature and all the diferent seasons have something beautiful about them.I love the colours of the autumn leaves and that almost smokey smell in the air. There is a little place down the road from me where i can walk through the trees and along by the stream. Its the place where i feel most calm and at peace. | |

| Thoughts of Winter Posted: 9/4/2008 3:00:53 AM | Love the old fashioned winters not these damp crappy things that breed germs so everyones flued up for months.
But on saying that the novelty wears off pretty quick and im waiting for an old fashioned summer

| Thoughts of Winter Posted: 9/4/2008 6:37:28 AM | Altho i am a sunshine gal, but i do like the winter time as well, i love the cold crisp clear days and Christmas of course.

| Thoughts of Winter Posted: 9/4/2008 6:55:04 AM | I love the summer & I love the winter, what I don't like is all this rain. Cold, crisp winter mornings with the frost on the ground & getting all wrapped up for a bike ride or long walk & then coming home into the warm with cheeks glowing, a hot bath & relax in the dark night, can't beat it. I love xmas time with all the lights everywhere. Then after xmas I look forward to the spring. All the seasons for me bring their own lovely times, shame our seasons aren't like what they used to be | |

| Thoughts of Winter Posted: 9/4/2008 9:09:58 AM |
The nights are starting to draw in and i think ahead to how in a few months it will be dark by 4pm.The electric blanket will be back on the bed,the lights in my flat will go on early,my energy levels will slump and i will feel lethargic andi will have a pile of library books beside the bed.Ihate the cold and dread the thought of winter.Your thoughts on how that time of year makes you feel would be appreciated.
I feel about the same i just hate the lonely winter months not having a bed to share with a companion, it gets very lonely but my 3 cats keep me warm as they all huddle under the covers with me, but as much as I do love them to bits I would love the body heat from a man next to me lol
