What is it that you are dying to do, but haven't done so far?

Well, the way I see it some people just have a fear of heights. Some more severe than others as I'm not crazy about heights but have no issues with planes...or, if the opportunity arose, jumping out of them for that matter.

It doesn't matter where that fear came from, as some like to analyze the crap out of that, it's there. Some people can control them and some can't. It's part of life.

Fear came from our Ancestors as a means of survival.
It is pretty interesting stuff, where if they didn't learn to fear heights, they all would have dropped off the side of that mountain, didn't learn to fear spiders, they would have all perished from being bitten by that snake, etc.
So fear does have its good points, but letting it control our lives too much, is not a good thing. :)

Such a meaningful response to the threat - as usual.

WTF does that mean??? What threat?????

Of course a response analyzing people that their fear may or may not be caused by their father is much more insightful as compared to people just having fears. Heck, animals have fear, what caused that in them??? Their fathers? The media????
Maybe it was lack of counselling!!

I think linny just tagged new dawn!! lol!!!

Correct me if I am wrong, but am thinking she meant to type 'thread', not 'threat'.

1. Figure out what I want to do when I grow up
2. Go on some kind of survival camp trip
3. Travel ...everywhere

I did want to go skydiving and booked a trip with a few friends on my birthday a few years back but a week before we supposed to go a woman plummeted to her death in Waterville. I cancelled. I'd probably go though if someone planned it and didn't give me any time to think about all the bad things that could happen.

Well, she would have 15 minutes to correct it if she took 10 seconds to review that extremely short dig.

I'd love to have a good ole bit of sex while hanging upside down in a tree, with my head in a metal bucket

That way if I fall people will hear me have the big O.

Visit Japan. See such a different lifestyle - so much beauty - experience different foods, music, culture. Since I take martial arts this would have many meanings for me. Someday I am going to do it!

I want to go to Florence and see the work of Botticelli up close and personal. Then I shall buy a kick ass pair of Italian leather shoes and drink some kick ass Italian wine and maybe kick some Italian's ass.

If you are a fan of the martial arts you may want to visit China instead, Unless it is a specific style that you want to observe, if not see below.

The term Martial Arts actually refers to any sort of codified combat systems, regardless of origin.

Example: Martial Arts is to Jujutsu as Cars are to Ford.

The start of Asian Martial Arts (thought to be earliest) was thought to be around the 400 to 200BC time frame.

The Martial Arts did not reach Japan until ~19th Century and soon after that was in US.

So if you want to witness not just 2 generations of style but many more generations then China is your place.

p.s. I hear the milk is not so good, so maybe only Pepsi and for the love of mother Earth NO Sharkfin soup.

Win a lottery so I can buy my tropical little beach with palm trees, clear blue water and coconuts while living just like they do on the Corona commercials.

Well, don't we all die due to a lack of oxygen???

Something may have caused that lack of oxygen, but it's the lack of it that deceases you.

And if you already had the answer to your question...why did you ask?

(I'm gonna' need help from about 8 fungals who know how to be ... , ummm, ... fun. Be there too; or perhaps hear after, ... & wish U had not been square.)

Otherwise, I think Mandarin is the ticket of 2nd languages in the 21st Century.

Where's the party tonite?

Enjoy Elton John, Darlena !!

One of the none-specific desires I wish to live out in the near future is moving to a country which is not predominantly English speaking. I have never been immersed in a country where everyone or almost everyone could not speak at least some English. I'm not sure there are such places around anymore unless you stay out of large cities or go to places where I probably would never choose to live for even a year, but I'm thinking Far East, maybe Thailand or Korea, somewhere not in a major city or tourist center, of course. I'm alweays open for suggestion, if anyone has done something similar and would like to share some info, experiences...
