| Why do some younger men want to have sex with an older woman?
Posted: 12/11/2008 2:49:48 PM | Well, I don't watch talk shows and I am not a "cougar"... I started this thread to find understanding as to why so many younger men were contacting me ~ I do not do the pursuing.
Oh, I am sure there are many older ladies who do the chasing of much younger guys. The same goes for older men looking for much younger ladies.

Posted: 12/11/2008 2:56:49 PM | Let's see I have dated a Doctor, Register Nurse, Teacher, Banker, and several other women. The youngest being 40 the oldest being 54. Most women by the time they have reached their mid forties have already raised their children or have nearly grown children. They are secure in their career, secure financially, are not interested in a lot of drama. Most of them are not interested in having children and nearly all of them has had their tubes tied or more. So like I say they are definitely not interested in making babies. Most of them are fairly secure about their bodies, highly intelligent and can carry on a conversation on nearly any level. So they have a brain and the beauty to go with it. Most of them don't want a lot and will even pay for meals and love to go out to events. But when they are with you they are all focused upon you and appreciate the time and attention you give them. In fact they appreciate it so much that they go to extreme lengths to please their man... this in turn leads to more attention from their man and especially young men..... By this age women are ready, willing and are multi-orgasmic... and they love hot sex... the hotter the better... some of the hottest sex I have ever had was from a 55 year old lady who shall remain nameless....
All you 40 and 50 year old guys wanting those young 20 and thirty year old girls... can have them... Give me those 45 and older ladies ...... I will take them all day long and twice on Sunday's.....
Oh by the way I am in my mid 50's and would even look at a lady younger than 40

Keeping a robe handy in case of a fire shows wisdom that a younger woman might not have. Plus, you never know what might get set on fire.   | |

as far as we older women being "easy" for younger men, I don't go actively looking for younger men. they seem to find me! I used to not even consider anyone a lot younger, then met an active duty marine for coffee and we starting a wonderful friendship. doesn't help that he's cute as a button! (I'm sure any marine worth his salt would cringe at that!)  | |

I dont why they do it or even why i do it. But its fun and i enjoy their company. Its not wrong at all in my opinion. We laugh and have a good time for like 5 minutes and then we go our separate ways. I dont know if i could ever have a relationship with a women 10 years older than me. But it would never hurt to try. I am very secure with myself and know when a women my age takes advantage of me and it has happened before which sucks. I like and respect all women of any age. I have yet to use a girl for a booty call and probably never will. Its just not in me to do that. I could never use a women older than me for a booty call. Just cause she is more intune with her body that doesnt mean i should take advantage of that. I think that they should be treated with respect like anyone else i interact with.
That being said i hope i gave some of the people here a different insight. | |

One married for money and remained married til the day he died...he died before her. the other uncle married for love. ..family put too much pressure on and they got divorced , but then ran off and eloped, tried to keep hidden and finally family accepted them. The older women divorced my uncle years later and moved to another state...she started seeing an older man. My uncle moved there to follow her and win her back...he was found dead from gunshot wound to the head with suspicious circumstances. true story !!!! My uncle was the baby boy in a very large family with bunches of older sisters. go figure...makes sense to me...but, guys like him are rare. He was my fav uncle | |

I think it's yet another double standard that women want to enforce through anger and guilt trips. Such a sad sad anti-man world we reside in. We live in a world where a 40 year old woman can have sex with her 13 year old student and get sympathy and a book deal after only 7 years in jail, but a 20 year old man goes to prison for 10 years because he had sex with his 17 year old girl friend. This is just the beginning of the dangerous controlling way that the law and society in general is favouring women. I still don't understand why NOBODY seems to want true equality, but it won't be a pleasant world until one sex stops fighting to dominate the other. Growing up we all had the friend with the hot mom that you talked about wanting to f *ck but never could. So when you reach your late teens early twenties and have gotten laid a few times you start to look for that. At least I know I did.

I remember the sexual peak years, women around 30 emitted a much stronger 'sexual' vibe than an 18 year old female student (hot teacher vs. sexy student). Most fantasy at that time included women who were in a way taboo ( but in a strange 'sexual' vibe context it made more sense). The very curious result of those formative years has left me interested in women 15 years older than me. I am 34 years old and a sexy 48/49 year old woman drives me crazy........ Kriss

Posted: 1/22/2009 9:06:17 PM | At first when I read what you wrote, I was confused. You can't categorize all older women like that. I am not preverse or immature. You have to take each case on it's own merit. I consider myself to be mature, intelligent, and very balanced emotionally.
Age is a state of mind and I am sorry to say that you're way of thinking is very close-minded. I know what it means to have a very loving relationship with a man that is my age. I also have friends who have been deeply hurt by men that are in their age bracket and it's not because of how old they are, it's because of how old they are mentally.
I know young men who have shown incredible maturity when it really counts. For example, my friend fell in love with a younger man, found out she had breast cancer and he was there for her from the beginning to the end of her treatment and is still there today after 5 years.
I just feel strongly about this topic. If you close yourself off to new experiences, how are you ever going to be able to enjoy what could really be an incredible relationship or friendship.
It's not always just about sex. It's about common interests, what you are passionate about and how old you feel inside.

I'm sorry if your mother used to beat you or whatever the hell happened to make you hate women so much in so many threads.
But, I think the reason it's viewed differently, is because of the overarching power structures between men and women.
All the MILF jokes and everything? Yeah, that's younger men DOING the pursuing. Not only pursuing older women, but sexually objectifying them. Older men do the same thing to younger women (I'm one, I would know).
Now older women may occasionally pursue younger men, but it's still rarer these days than vice versa, and rarer still is the woman who will sexually objectify a man the way so many men do women. | |
