I didn't duck your question.I am trying to research it with non-bias sources which is very difficult.I don't use blogs,The NYT ,MSNBC,and other obviously left sources.

By the way who is going to Washington.Its time for both candidates to show some LEADERSHIP.They need to be leaders of their parties and go to Washington and come up with a bi-partisan plan that will show that they care about the American people and not just their political careers.

ERIC YOU ARE DUCKING MY QUESTION.... factcheck.org IS NOT biased. Start there. And for the record I never suggested you use any of those sources. I said specifically FACTCHECK.ORG which is as far as I know the most fair website out there. That's their whole point by posting actual facts. You ducking my question, by ignoring the site says volumes. But, seriously, go there and come back or even provide a link of ALL McCAINS lies. And I'll do the same with Obama.

ERIC2008 WOW... I didn't know that. Well since thats the case... find another source and quit ducking my question. If don't want to find or list McCains lies then just say so and quit making excuses. Hell, go to your favorite place of Fox News and find them. I just want to see how UNBIASED you truly are. Nothing says UNBIASED by finding out the THINGS you DONT like about the candidate you support and posting them. I don't have a problem finding ALL the lies Obama told during this campaign, so why do you have a problem listing all the lies McCain has told? I'm trying to glimmer some hope from those who support McCain to at least be honest with yourselves. So, if your honest with yourself and McCain is sooooo much better than Obama, lets see who holds up in the integrity area. POST HIS LIES and I'll POST OBAMA'S. Again, this is very, very, very simple to do. I'm sure you shouldn't have any problem finding a credible SOURCE of YOUR CHOOSING to find out all the LIES McCAIN has told during this campaign. And when you find them, ask yourself why he lied about them. I'll do the same for Obama. Fair enough?

I wish I could but your President may as well be mine. What America does has tremendous impact on the rest of North America, let alone the world. Gas prices, how many of our troops we dedicate to help you fight your battles (100 Canuck soldiers dead in Afghan and counting), and trade policies are of tremendous importance.

In my specific case, most of my business originates in America. In the past 3 years I've seen my income decrease by 70%. Your economy has devalued your dollar which is pretty much at parity now which alone cut into my income. There was a time when every American dollar equalled $1.60 Canadian dollars. If American consumers are having financial problems due to increased taxes and so forth, that will also mean less business for me.

The selection of a level-headed American President is in all of our interests.

Ok, Tell me... I really am very interested in why you would vote for McCain. Be honest! If you not voting for Obama because he "scares you" tell me why. What about his policies scare you.

What policies that McCain has is better. I am trying to understand how someone can vote for McCain. Lets have a real debate about this.

My litmus test for McCain was on his advocating privatization of Social Security. Once I heard he supported this stupid idea, which Bush pushed, I knew he didn't care about the average working person. The basic idea is there would be these individual, personal accounts set up to be invested in various managed investment funds like Treasury Bills, corporate bonds or stock market funds. Now, everybody not living in a cave, has seen the stockmarket drop hundreds of points and seen companies go out of busines, fraud, theft and cheating. The stockmarket is no place for some innocent person. But his idea to have millions of Americans gamble with their retirement moneywith no experience is just wrong. What would happen to the retirees who bet wrong and got taken, live under a bridge?Meanwhile it would be a humongous windfall for Wall St. brokerage firms and mutual fund companies, because we would have to pay for them to manage our accounts. Diverting money to these individual accounts would reduce available funds to pay the current people retiring, and that would require
borrowing the money to shore up SS. McCain has said that current benefits promises"cannot be kept" and he's indicated he would reduce benefits in the future rather than raise taxes. Middle class and below would be hurt more because wealthier
people would have other investments and more money to fall back on. Many economists believe that SS isn't in the mess that some make it out to be and with some minor adjustments and keeping Congress's hands off the SS money there would be no need for privatization. Because McCain supports this stupid idea and because he has been in agreement with Bush 90% of time is reason enough for not voting for him. I don't think most married people are in agreement 90% of time. He's not for working people and he's no maverick.

Yes, follow the money. Hundreds (possibly over 1000) of mostly middle class employees of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae gave donations of as little as $5 over the past 8 years to add up to $126,349, and McCain only got $21,550 (numbers used for the above propaganda). By those standards (using employees), Obama would lead nearly every large corporation's donations.

But the 40 directors, officers and lobbyists for Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae gave $169,000 to McCain's campaign over the last year and a half, while only giving Obama $16,000.

To go a step further, blaming his primarily on Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae is really flawed. From what I've heard many of these people who got into bad mortgage situations could've easily qualified for conventional loans. Without some real numbers it is not obvious to me that the problem is/was "low income" people, as this video claims. All the stories I hear are of people with decent jobs, who bought more than they could afford, got low interest rates on adjustable rate mortgages and/or used their expected home equity to buy more or do improvements ... then the bottom dropped out on rising home values and/or ARMs went up. The housing market has flaws from top to bottom.

It's interesting to note how Shrub (and now Mccain) would like us to privatize social security, give windfall profits to mortgage companies, and then when the economy tanks (as we are seeing at this very minute), all those believers would be sucking sour grapes because they took their advice. It's already happening formany millions who are watching their stock portfolios, their retirements, just fall by the wayside. To all the babyboomers who support radical rightwing politics....ya'll need to wake up. Your retirement just got flushed and ANYONE....who would support the rightwing failed judgements and failed policies.....deserves their just reward.

Actually I think the bailout is buying the mortgage-backed securities from the mortgage brokers and investment bankers at market value before the decline as if the housing decline never happened, then hoping the market adjusts itself and the government can resell the securities at a profit or at least a much smaller loss...
