Defiant Elf.. I really enjoyed your post, it actually enlightened me a little..( I am a bit dim at times..) I am a skeptic through and through... happily I might add as well. I wondered how many people would email you. Lots of people looking for free advice.?.hell what do they take this for ..lol there are toilet walls for that kinda thing.
But I guess what doesnt help my skeptism in any way shape or form is the amount of Kookie behaviour or beliefs that collide/meld along with it, see believing in elves ( and I catagorically am not saying elves cause thats your name or in anyway infering you ) or fairies.. I mean really acting out on the whole thing is like nutsville to me.
I get that people believe in many things seen and unseen but couple with that the apparent ability to read people, believe in faires, elves, witches, warlocks, cards including visa and master card you can understand why people are not taken seriously.
But before the vilification sets in.... I think if my child went missing and someone of some repute told me they knew where they were.. ( and im thinking like that show medium type of thing and note it is imaginary show with no fairies) Id give it a crack for sure. So does that make me a hypocritical skeptic.. by gads it does.. | |

Hey, there are skeptics out there, and its not the first time people have challenged me to predict something to prove that i am.
I take no offence to the snide comments and remarks made by people on this thread.
Im sorry that there are those of you out there that havent had a good reading, or did not get out of it what you thought or had been ripped off. It isnt pleasent, i know. I myself have had readings where i have been grossely disapointed and they still took my money. i figure karma will turn around and bite them in the arse.
I dont charge 100 dollars for a reading. actually, compared to alot of people out there, my prices are quite fair. ive been told i should charge more and if i were in it for the money, i would. There was a period of time there where i didnt charge at all, but with opening a shop, i have overheads as well as expenses that need to be paid.
I think $35 for half and hour (which usually runs for an hour anyways) and $50 for an hour (which, somtimes can run for an extra 1/2 -1 hour) is quite a good rate. and i dont take peoples money if they arent satisfied.
There are myths and ledgends going back thousands of years, in all different cultures about mystical beings such as fairies, mermaids, dragons etc etc. and it is my reasearch (i have studied history) that myths and ledgends are based on some sort of truth. Im not saying you need to believe there are fairies in the garden, and  that live under bushes. But it has to be a sad life you live if you devoid yourself of the fantasy and the mystery of it. where is the magic that you had when you were a child. I bet you believed in fairies then.. or as a little girl, wanted to be a mermaid when you grew up?
There are many unexplained things in this world and dismissing something such as the paranormal, metaphysics etc because you dont understand it, is just silly.
Most people are religious, prove to me there is a god? prove to me, how a woman can concieve a child without sexual intercourse from a man (im talking about biblical times here)? thats what happened to mary right?
Sometimes you need to have an open mind. a close mind doesnt get far in the world, but if your open to possibilities, you might not believe, but are open to what could be, then you open yourself up to new discoveries and opertunities that you might not have noticed before.
there are a couple of very good quotes, and it is something that i believe.
"there are none so blind, as those who CAN NOT see"
and " for those who believe, no proof is needed, for those who dont believe, no proof is enough"
So i can go ahead and tell you there will be some activity around the end of feb 2009 in regards to terrorism and the US presidant will declare something that will shock many of the worlds nations, but you wont believe me.
I guess youll have to wait until 2009 to see if i were right, but by then, you would have forgotten about the prediction.

I spoke to a psychic from Ebay and she told me to get to the doctors and she gave details. I dont want to go into my personal life but my life was saved the day I spoke with her and I will always be grateful. I paid $50 for the Crystal Ball reading and it was very cheap considering what it could have cost me if I had not heard the information she told me.
I love that quote written earlier about those that believe dont need evidence but non believers will never get enough evidence.

I do believe that people have the right to believe in what they want without having to prove or justify themselves and if something makes someone feel good and it doesnt hurt others then it cant be a bad thing.
To the poster that is sick, Im sure you didnt post for sympathy but wanted to say I wish you all the best and dont be too bothered by others with bad manners. | |

I beleive.
and that's all it counts.
I never under estimate the power of universe. Anything is possible.
I believe there are people who are gifted and can see what's in the future.
Our intuition is a form of psychic ability. A mother who gets up in the middle of the night to cover her child finding the child's blanket off, is in a way psychic. I believe some of us have it stronger than others.
FBI uses psychic. Are they crazy??? Many crimes have been solved by using psychics.
I have PSYCHIC Dreams. Not always but a lot. Some are so precise and some not so clear but still parts of it happen.

I seen this fourm and thought I would peek in...surprised to find no phychics discussing these incredable times we are in...instead I found idle chatter about everyday events.
Perhaps this fourm has already talked about these dates that many in the world are watching ...if not..it would leave one wondering about psychic abilities

Posted: 10/5/2008 6:57:53 PM | I use to do reading for people a few years ago.. I got taught how to do clairvoyant reading in a workshop in the early nineties.. When I use to do reading with people ,I would employee the use of Mah Jong divination Card's and Numerology.. to give me a more of a accurate picture of things.. I found that most of the time people would tell me nothing and blow out on how precise I would tell them things about themselves, past and future events ahead..
I dont do reading anymore at the moment but find that you can develop that side with practice ... and the more you practice the better the readings.. | |
