When I can't find anything I clap my hands shouting 'put it back'. it works sometimes.

Naamah suggest you look in jean pockets in laundry or jacket. I occasionally resort to this and have been surprised by not finding the object but an occasional 10 buck note...should go towards cost of buying apology flowers and recutting fee. Other than that give them a brick for throwing through windows to open latches....or better still like me, tell them to not bother locking the house up it only invites would be intruders to think you have something worth stealing.

Hi. not being a mod.. I wouldn't know the exact reason... but, usually it's because someone has reported a violation of forum rules.......(unofficial mods who help, keep forum rules)....
which helps the forums... actually exist..(re lack of mods/time/etc)

I myself have never reported anyone, except myself...(bad gurl...ha ha ha)
I started a thread.. I reedited it wrong and reported. myself...for making a redundant thread..

Before we post on forums we are suppose to read the rules.. its rather lengthy...
but might give some insight...... on simple mistakes we make if unaware of the rules..

Try not to feel upset or marginalised... ITs just all about the rules/respect for the site..

Don't let it get you down.. we are all human, and make unitntentional mistakes... hopefully they lead to more awareness..
IF you read the posting rules... you'll find it won't be permanent...
Don't take it personally or let it upset your being..

I'm restricted to 5 a day too and have been banned a few times only for being off topic I think. The only time it bothers me is when I type out a lenghty thought induced message and don't know I've reached my limit in the 24 hour time frame until I'm finished and punch post.
My psychic prediction is that someone will start new quote and joke threads.

Naamah have you found the keys yet ? Has any clairvoyant been of assistance in your search ? The suspense is enough to make me want to go back to work just to think of something else.

Really Soulmate and I could really only be said to have been conducting a pseudo-experiment at best...just playing really...and no psychics came forward in response to my original question unfortunately. Anyway, I did find the keys, and thank god because the neighbours get back today...but they hadn't fallen, and weren't under anything or where I dump my stuff, and weren't near anything wooden. It was just a case of severe Domestic Blindness in the end. But I did find my post office key in the midst of it, and that was a brilliant outcome!

How about the quote of the week thread ?

You don't need to be a psychic for that because the violations thread is no longer anonymous. Same person who reported Pookie's thread reported the quotes thread for being a list thread. Even though list threads aren't allowed, we have had quotes threads tolerated by the mods before...and they are great...and then they seem to get misused too much and the mods find it quicker to delete the lot than clean it up.

My psychic prediction is that someone will start new quote and joke threads.
My crystal ball tells me it wouldn't be particularly wise to defy a moderator decision.

but, usually it's because someone has reported a violation of forum rules.......(unofficial mods who help, keep forum rules)....

We all have the ability to report violations to help maintain the forum. http://forums.plentyoffish.com/datingPosts12578637.aspx The mods still have the final say and it all comes back to the rules we all agreed to when we joined up...not every report is automatically actioned and it all boils down to the fact that the only person who will ever get you (any of us) restricted/banned...is you, with what you choose to post. Getting a thread cleaned up by reporting flaming, inane chat, broadcasting, etc, will often help save a good thread. Cos if we all ignore this stuff it usually compounds... eventually the mods notice for themselves and delete the whole thread, meaning we all get punished on behalf of those who think they are above the rules.

You don't need a psychic for that either. We are all forgiven the occasional off-topic posting, but those who persist end up with restrictions/bans. You can't disclaim on the basis of newbie status forever. Here is the right forum for starting a thread about questions of this nature. http://forums.plentyoffish.com/datingForum4.aspx

OK. So I had my reading, and well I reckon she was at least 95% accurate. The reading went for around 1 1/2 hours. The only thing I told her was my name and age.

So your saying 5% of the time he/she didnt have a clue what they were talking about and just lied to you???

id ask for a refund!!!

Even if psychics arent scammers
why pay 90 dollars to see a psychic to be told about when a kid breaks an arm, or what your dead dogs name was???
Who cares??

History is in the past and the future hasnt happened, a psychic is an expert on telling you the when and now,,
(i guarantee that they will tell you that your not doing well at the moment or that there is turmoil in your life, (of course there is, thats why you went in the first place)

but never on future events, because they cant possibly know, see prev post about reward offered for just ONE REAL PSYCHIC i think that speaks for itself,

They cant be studied under a controlled enviroment because then their powers wont work... why? because they have none, show the proof, (not talk about visits and the such, but show the proof) as usual its all talk , there is no proof and heresay doesnt make any of it real,,

A lot of people here who dont portend to be psychic could give you a reading that was 95% accurate also , but that doesnt make them psychic, just smart

Makes me shudder to see so many people get sucked in and pay for that crap..
also makes me shudder to read about the looneys here that think that theyre psychics

Oh and by the way for you believers, hate to burst another bubble,

Wrestling is Faked, (seriously it is)

Nutters

Cynic or Believer?
Doesnt warrant any more thought, might as well compare the tooth fairy to the hulk(which one is real???),

Believers need to get out of the kindergarten and get some maturity in their lives

Ive noticed some people on here have really slammed us psychics. I wonder about there own lives if they are 95% accurate in everything that they do? This seems unrealistic to me. Logic doesnt really have anything to do with being psychic, its intuition, and spiritual sense rather then brain power.

Oh forfend, no I just can’t bear to go and look what they have done, when oh when will this cruelty end. What unfortunate individuals will next find themselves on the hit list of those who would take pleasure in mocking the credulous? Are the simple folk who believe in fairies to find no sanctuary from ridicule anywhere; do we really what to live in a world were hapless witless slack jawed troglodytes can find not safe place to two finger type.

I am just appalled by this kind of behaviour; while credulity is adaptive in children there are those unfortunate individuals who through no fault of their own, simply lack the intellectual capacity or the emotional security to face the realities of life that confront them. They have their Celestial Santa’s, their precognitive dreams, and of course, the ghost in their machines but what harm do they do, they are sadly a blight upon the escutcheon of the education system, but for pities sake surely we can understand the all humans need to find a way of making sense of the world that surrounds them.

These poor sorry souls have to live in a demon haunted world untouched by the Enlightenment, groping their way as best they can, through a life made dark and mysterious by the pale of ignorance that surrounds them, have they not suffer enough, what possible pleasure could anyone derive from making fun of them and their unfortunate antediluvian delusions. The whole thing is just disgusting.

Ive noticed some people on here have really slammed us psychics. I wonder about there own lives if they are 95% accurate in everything that they do? This seems unrealistic to me.

Unrealistic? To say that you are "a psychic" is to claim that you have an ability, which enables you to do stuff like predicting the future/read minds/talk to spirits etc. If I claim to be "a carpenter", then the connotation there is that I have an ability, which enables me to do stuff such as making stuff/building things etc. And if I claim to be "a carpenter", then yeah, people would have a right to expect me to be at least 95% accurate at that sort of stuff...otherwise I am merely someone who has on occasions, picked up a hammer and managed to successfully bang a few nails into something. That doesn't entitle me to claim I am "a carpenter".

From what I am gathering, it's part of the human experience to, on occasion, have a seemingly predictive dream, or gain a certain sense about someone only to find you are right, or experience deja vu, or sometimes have a bad feeling about something only to have it eventuate, or to know something you couldn't have possibly known, or to have an inexplicable experience after a loved one dies, and so on. I've had those sorts of experiences myself. But it's also part of the human experience to have dreams that mean absolutely nothing, be totally wrong about someone, not remember something at all even if it's been done before, have a feeling about something that turns out to be totally inaccurate, to think you know something when you are actually quite wrong, and to think something is inexplicable when it later turns out to have an explanation. And so we have two lists of human experiences...and really, the only clear way to categorise someone as " a psychic" is if they can do the sort of stuff in the first list with at least 95% accuracy, unlike the rest of us who occasionally might, but more often fall into the latter list and then choose to not mention it again....and I am the first to admit that the experiences from the first list are way more interesting to hear about. But this tendency to say things like...I am mildly psychic, based on a few correct predictions set amongst a whole wad of incorrect ones...well all I can say is...I am mildly carpenterish.

Yes I should get his astrology chart done....just to see what's up..his ...node..

I Know people from allllllllll sorts of beliefs.. .. I sorta.. worked out years ago.. I probably won't find anyone.. I agree with on everything... so diversity/listening...why they believe.. is far more interesting..than dismissal..
which is handy.. cause I guess I live in a new age town...so.. who knows who..what who believes...(I don't really ask/enquire.....
(I do realise from previous posts also.. I probably would'nt feel comfy inviting scholar for a visit..... although I accept him.. just the way he is... its probably best we don't discuss alot of topics... for harmony sake...... Id feel very protective.. of those around me..... who feel 'things in their bones'..... can feel it in the water..etc....
they just are... who they are......Id feel scholars thoughts/views... and want to protect them.. their happy.. in their little ways.. even if I don't agree with their ways..)
also I ... don't think meeting mum..would be a good idea..... Id feel his attitude re.. religion..etc.. and my mum.. believes.. whatever it is she believes... its her right...)
I like people who let me talk about my soul..spirit and understand..... energy...
Thats ok.. scholar.. we just dont go to soul level... ive got mates on many levels....
I think your a gentle.. nice energy.. and a woman with your thoughts/intellect.. will harmonise with you nicely..(disclaimer..this is not a pyschic prediction scholar...hahahaha)

anyhoo.....This has brought back some memories... and why... I don't really like visiting pyschics..etc... I believe in free will...choice.. so the less my mind is influenced... from prophetic words?.......or rather specif words... predictions.. as oppossed to .. feelings/intuition.../instinct..which is different.... the happier I am...sometimes.. I think these things effect ..decisions.. that otherwise would'nt have been made....for eg..
MY mum.. had a tape recording of a visit to a pyschic.. it 's prediction came true..(could'nt be self influenced either...cause it actually happened to me.. extrordanary circumstances...anyhoo. )..
A year later mum.. want's to take me.. Im 17.. (I look apparently like 14)
I make her park wayyyyyyyy up the st..(Cause IM a sceptic)...no facial clues..no clues..at all..... so.. she starts reading.. peers over at me... says what she is saying.. (which was true).. but doubted herself cause I looked so young..as she said 14...
she then (from memory.. cause I eventually burnt the farkin tape.. wished ID never gone)....3 things... The 1st.. was I would marry a much older man.... (the other 2 don't matter nor have happened.. in this eg...but im not dead yet.. )
so. IM 18.. come up to ballina from sydney....to visit my mum..who had moved..
met her friend.. he was 12 years older than me.. he .. asked me to marry him.....hmmmm.
well I said.. I don't really know you?.. he said move up here.. so you can... I said well I have cheap rent.. he said.. I'll find you a place and go halves in rent..(but live elsewhere).... (me naive.. trusting.. well the last bit of trust... sorta ..)....say ok....
first week.. he goes gets his hair dyed.. buys exspensive shampoo... no rent... (dont think he ever did..learnt.. dont make any decision on people say or promise....
just do it yaself...
over time.. ( well i go visit him at uni where he worked.. hes chatting to another woman... who he eventually dumped me for)......buggar... sure learn't.... don't rely on anyone..for anything.... cause went hungry... but anyhoo....turns out he was a manic depressive.. .. and they..can.... make rash decisions...no farkin kidding...
so.. yes I ended up getting out of sydney.. and thats how I ended up ..up here.... BUt
would I of said yes.. if the words were'nt in my head about the older man?..... anyhoo.. ended up marrying a guy a year older..than me...
so how would of my life been if I had not heard those words?.. would I still of said .. ok.. ill get to know you?..move?... ..dunno...will never know...

another...one.. chick holds my watch..maybe..less than 10 years ago?...(she was a friend of a friend...wasnt planned...)... says you will meet a man..named*****....ok... knew only 1 person by that name.. not a chance in hell..... so.. time goes by.. visit sydney.. old mates getting together at an exs place..who is married./kids..IM doing backflips into the pool..with the kids... ex son.. is impressed and asked his dad if he could marry me.... his name was the name.. so i crack..up at her prediction.... too funny...
then.. I see a guy...sexy as... which is rare for me.. especially where I live.. cause aint many guys.....decided yep.. like him..... then I find out his name... that name....anyhoo I wanted him before the name.. the name nearly made me run.. actually)
have only met one other person with that name..... recently....
so its not like john...anyhoo.. we had fun..
and thats.. my story...
prefer not to have influences in my head...
peace

I thought I was just making an impassioned plea for tolerance towards all; even the mildly carpenterish. See what happens when I am left on here alone at 2 am, without adult supervision; the power of the dark side of the force does tempt me; have thesaurus will babble I am afraid.

Are you sure it’s not psychic prediction? I actually believe in your psychic powers; it’s a secret so don’t tell anyone.

a woman with your thoughts/intellect.. will harmonise with you nicely.

It’s going to be hell on earth isn’t it; never mind it will probably never happen anyway, though I suppose that such a thing is not entirely beyond imagining, at least by the Bard:

I am as peremptory as she proud-minded;
And where two raging fires meet together,
They do consume the thing that feeds their fury.

Oh god I am usually the thing that feeds a women fury! I am going to be burnt to a crisp aren’t I.

Hi guys.I had an experience once that I can't explain but it happened.I was with a group of mates on a "picnic"way out in the bush somewhere. We were running around throwing a frisbee when my best mate started having an asthma attack. He couldn't find his puffer and was becoming pretty distressed...which wasn't helping his attack.I had believed in the power of the subconcious for a long time and what happened next happened in a split second.I cleared my thoughts and invited guidance and without hesitation or rational thought ,walked about 50 metres through the bush to find his puffer on the ground at my feet.I dont claim to have any psychic ability but i believe that we all have access to a level of conciousness that will allow us to operate outside the box.

Well a mirrored relationship..usually is... cause it magnifies alllllllll ya good points... and allllllll ya bad points..
What's wrong?... are your balls feeling abit fragile?....... maybe like crystal?
perhaps.. do whatever it is they do with crystal balls...

and abit of navel gazing would'nt hurt you either......

Oh god I am usually the thing that feeds a women fury! I am going to be burnt to a crisp aren’t I.

ohh virgo...the virgin... there are only 1 of 2 things to do to a virgin.. both can only be done once....
the fire... or the........ for someone who dosen't believe in GOD.. you sure seem to call out to him alot...
perhaps now... 3 hail mary's and a.... hymn might'nt go astray...
or perhaps not..

I am as peremptory as she proud-minded;
And where two raging fires meet together,
They do consume the thing that feeds their fury.

Don't be going throwing barb's.... I mean Bard's around willy nilly..
you've done enough back peddaling to keep a small city alight..through pedal power alone...
Besides it's out of my hands now...
It goes before the review board.. which is my mum.. my son.. and my best friend.....
profile... history will be submitted... (ive been deemed unable to chose a man.. cause apparently.. i have crap taste in men... go figure)

may I suggest if my best mate suggests an angel card reading..... you... think wisely....
(not that I know what angel cards are... cause.. she knows what i think .. re spirit levels/stages... ..and it don't include cards.... but I hear she likes em....)
My mum.. well I suppose you would have to convert to whatever religion she is... and accompany her to church..... hope you can sing...

If psychics are as good as they claim to be then why do YOU have to call THEM? If they were really psychic then wouldn't they know that you want to talk to them? Therefore THEY should call YOU instead! Just a thought :)

OK. So I had my reading, and well I reckon she was at least 95% accurate. The reading went for around 1 1/2 hours. The only thing I told her was my name and age.

I think 95% is damn good. She got my kids personalities spot on, and mine too. Not only did she get their pasts right (apart from the broken arm, wrong child) but she also predicted the future. She told me that there would be 2 deaths around me. One would go quick, the other would be diagnosed with something, and this person was in there 50's (recently listen to the tape again; I had forgotten that peace of info). Within 6 weeks my ex partner (aged 51) was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. He passed away 5 months later.

I ask you, how could she have possibly known that???
