There was a place in Seattle called "John John's" it was a bar where all the trendy people hung out. A friend and I went in once. Immediate impression? Horribly plastic!
We sat down at the bar and started with a drink and watrching people. About 10 minuted alter this attractive woman approached me and her first words were" "What's your sign?" I immediately went dumb. "My sign"? I asked. She said: "Yes...what is your sign?" I stayed dumb! I asked what she was talking about. She said: "What sign were you born under?" I smiled and said "Delivery Room". That totally perplexed her. My friend almost fell off the bar stool laughing.
Let me take this a little farther. I am part Indian and with my tribe, The Northern Arapaho...every month of the year is the month of something. May is the month when the ponies shed. June is the month of making fat...etc.
So this woman asks me what month I was born in. I said: "The month when the ponies shed". Once again...she was totally perplexed. Totally blank face! My friend almost fell off his stool again! She finally gave up an walked on.
