Maybe some of them were lying? People fear being social outcasts if they admit to not liking something 'everyone' seems to like....
Maybe you're right...maybe you're wrong. Maybe my anecdotal evidence is right... maybe it's wrong.
All I know is I talk with my friends... there's no need for any of them to lie, embellish, elaborate or whatever. Ive known them too long for that.... they've known each other too long for that. I know there are/we have/they have more important issues that are discussed between us other than bj's.
I still dont believe the percentage is anything like 17%.

From my own discussions with women, it seems most range from "kinda like it" to "I do it for him." Did the interviewer define "love" for the respondent? If so, how did they define "love"? Do you see my problem with surveys? | |

lets see, of 4 woman I have known very well, only one of them said they will blow a guy. the other 3 wouldn't. 1 outta 4 so that means 75% of woman don't give head.
Did you know 75% of statistics are made up on the spot? :D lol | |

Posted: 9/19/2008 10:23:36 PM | I've been around the block a few times and am happy to report that the figure seems quite a bit higher. At least most of the women I've been with seem to enjoy it, that is except for N____y, I haven't even been close to ANYTHING with her, work in progress I guess.
But S__, S__sy, L__da, Sh___, M___a, J__y, R_____a, ......oh my memory fails me, all seemed to really eat it up, all swallowed too, except Sh___.

Perhaps the women who post here are the ones who are comfortable with their sexuality and enjoy it. It isn't "politically correct" to shout from the mountaintops anymore that you don't like oral, or sex in general...although the way I hear my friends talk just stuns me. They are just as shocked by my attitude though so who is out of step? I hear from just about all the women I know that they have sex to make a man happy, or (sorry guys) to get him to stop pawing at them so they can go to sleep.

It is really the guy’s attitude towards it and how he has made me feel about the whole situation, the relationship and the sex. It is a very submissive act for me. I have to feel safe enough and close enough to him to do it and enjoy it. If he has made me feel right about everything, holy crap do I love it. It’s way more intimate than vaginal sex in my opinion. | |

I love giving it, love receiving it. What's frustrating for me is the last two guys I dated seriously told me they weren't into it. The most recent when I asked him if he liked it he said, 'I don't know'. Wtf?
They seem to think that if they go down on a woman that's all it takes to have good sex. NO- all things need to be equal for me. | |

I think some likely feel that if they do that they are being submissive. Sure there are probably gag reflex issues or people lying and saying they don't do it when they do (much like masturbation) but i think that most of the reasons why people would want to refrain from that are socially constructed
I myself have no problem with it socially and i do enjoy doing it ....adversely though I feel selfish and self concious accepting oral sex especially for more than about 10 minutes. Its all relative | |
