I have been on this site 2 or 3 years. Unfortunately the experience you suggest is very common on line. Men usually do not have the courage to talk sex in person after saying hello!
i make it clear I want a sexual relationship but not with a stranger. I can pick up a man anywhere. Usually I find men mention sex and how hung they are and how well they can satisfy me and how kind, considerate, and romantic they are BEFORE they mention their name. Perhaps I DID NOT make myself clear! I was trying to say that it is more common among males in the USA society to sleep/fornicate with many females at the same time. True, there are many females now who will sleep with many men in a relationship and they say they are loyal to each and everyone; as they hide the others under the bed.
But because of the way most girls were programmed/taught(some say robotized), most girls were trained to be loyal to one man. Of course this may have applied more to those in the Bible Belt say 50-100 years ago than today.
But all the women in my family(aunts, grandmas, cousins) except for two that we know of were virgins until thier first marriage!
It's like do you think you'd find more loyal brides in the Philippines who were devout Catholics verses in 90% of California with thier morality? | |

Uhm, you don't have to survey anyone to conclude it's a mathematical certainty that the average number of partners men have and the average number of partners women have will be virtually equal numbers. It's a consequence of the roughly 50/50 sex ratio.
If there are more men than women (as there are), then the average for men will be slightly lower than the average for women, because you're spreading more men among fewer women.
So what we can really conclude is that both sexes lie (especially about sex), though in different directions.
