I want to sell my commercial property and get out of the US..
I'll bet there are many others who are thinking the same thing..
Well ... I'm in the process of migrating north. Mind you I'm headed for Columbus, Ohio, but that's just a hop, skip, and a jump from Canada.

I haven't bothered to check yet to find out if my nursing skills are legal in Canada. I know my license is good all over the US and any territory we sit on ... but not sure if my license would be recognized in Canada.

I'd probably really check it out if I was considering a man from Canada. Now that would be a good reason to find out if my license is good up there. On the other hand, there are lots of other things I could do though the nursing would probably be the best to do. No sweat though ... I'm not totally dependent on my nursing license.

OT ...
I wouldn't be surprised to hear that they are getting the assignment as added manpower for the "Secret Service". With all the threats on OMAMA ... they'll probably need all the help they can get.

McCain and his followers are not going to be happy about it if OBAMA pulls this off.

Always amusing how these threads turn into liberal bashing by a select few. We all know conservatives don't riot. Well not unless blacks are going to be allowed into their schools.

Or they just blow up buildings with children in them.

There will be martial law declared in this country soon. The U.S. Arm brigade is doing this training for a reason think about it.Normally it is up to the National Guard to enforce martial law not the army.It is unconstitutional for any military branch to enforce police actions within its own country.Does this scenario remind you of any past simialar situations?Oh yeah,Iraq under Saddam Hussein when he gassed all those innocent people and Hitler when he persecuted all those innocent people in Germany with concentration camps. This is no B.S. people this is real. You better wake up and start researching this stuff and paying attention before its too late.

Godwin's Law (also known as Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies)[1] is an adage formulated by Mike Godwin in 1990. The law states:[2][3]

"As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one."

Seriously, I have all sorts of concerns with the coming election, including voter registry purges ect, but claiming that having military units on your own soil=Book burning and genocide? Somebody needs to take a few deep breaths and rethink their analogies.

Anyone remember Posse Comitatus? I think its awsome. This has been coming for so long. So many main stream sheep would scoff and buy into mainstream marginalizations of Militias and people who have been screaming about this forever. We are IN the new world order. It is here, the patriot act is passed. It over. Nothing short of a revolution is going to make ANY ANY ANY difference. You had one last chance with Ron Paul.... and because he wasnt good loking or charasmatic--- you laughed.... Im ready, I have been ready for over a decade. buy up gold, buying up silver, buying up the means of protection, studying the civil engineering maps of my area. Finding water taps, buying a boat to dive and fish off of. networking with like minds.... and they kept telling me I was crazy.... thats cool~ water off a ducks back~

lol, okay then. how about... american book burning. yes, it has happened here. how about... kent state. how about... waco. how about... massive and growing u.s. prison population or people otherwise raked over the legalist coals, with huge numbers of people chased down for "crimes" such as drug use/possession. don't get me started on the IRS. according to DOJ figures back in late 2007, "about 1 in 31 adults was in prison, jail, or on supervised release" at the end of that year. those figures are staggering. in short, will you ONLY be satisfied/concerned when america literally gets to the stage of something more directly comparable nazi germany? re-education camps for people who complain a little too loudly & often, perhaps?

in america, we don't show off our tyrannies. we sweep them under the carpet, or we parse the language to frame both ends of the debate and thus control thought processes and "logical" conclusions. we don't have nocturnal marches by torchlight. it is more like death by a thousand cuts, or boiling a frog. totalitarian pageantries are so out of style. do you think that what is happening in this country now is not a form of predatory economics? remember when it was called a bailout? now it's a rescue. or is that too subtle for you.

It's for acts of terrorism.

Not unless we are the terrorists!
All it's going to take is a crisis .. whether it happens before Bush leaves or after, doesn't matter. Both Biden and Powell gave a half ass statement to the people that one was coming ... I ask, what are they ALL planning?

"The problems will always be there and there’s going to be a crisis which will come along on the 21st, 22nd of January that we don’t even know about right now.
So I think what the President has to start to do is to start using the power of the oval office and the power of his personality to convince the American people and convince the world that America is solid, that America is going to move forward, we are going to fix our economic problems, we’re going to meet out overseas obligations." ~ Powell

Watch the video: http://www.infowars.com/?p=5461

If you think this isn't a credible source, there are plenty more out there for your own reading!

"In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way." ~FDR

"Let us never forget that government is ourselves and not an alien power over us. The ultimate rulers of our democracy are not a President and senators and congressmen and government officials, but the voters of this country." ~FDR

"These economic royalists complain that we seek to overthrow the institutions of America. What they really complain of is that we seek to take away their power. Our allegiance to American institutions requires the overthrow of this kind of power. In vain they seek to hide behind the flag and the Constitution. In their blindness they forget what the flag and the Constitution stand for. Now, as always, they stand for democracy, not tyranny; for freedom, not subjection; and against a dictatorship by mob rule and the over-privileged alike." ~FDR

Vote third party and shut em down!

Somebody needs a history lesson. Somebody needs to read the US Constitution, The Bill of Rights, understand who holds the power that the people here should have, read, read, read !!!! Somebody should worry about Canada - no safety net there either.

By the way, didn't Palin try to fire a librarian because she refused to ban books that Palin felt didn't need to be on the shelves? Fortunately she changed her tune when Alaskans voiced their dissent.

[q]why?

folks? please think![/q]

Okay, I think having the Army on alert is a good idea. The current election process is completely compromised with all the election fraud from Acorn. Its looking more like a coup than an election. When you think of a coup, at least from the definition, only ONE group tries to gain control by illegally attacking some vulnerable place in govt.

We may not see this coming until its too late, but several small groups with anti-American goals (like Acorn, ACLU, money speculators, and enemy governments) can league together to accomplish the same goal of getting a compromised leader into a position of power. Just because they may have separate uses for a corrupted leader in the White house, doesn't mean they wont work together for the same nefarious result.

I used to think Gov. Richardson (D-NM) was a likely "Manchurian Candidate." I figured the North Koreans would work in cahoots with other nations (i.e. hiding their active bomb making apparatus in Syria) to give Richardson some bogus, trivial foreign policy victories. The idea being his political star would rise and they could have the same victory of getting a compromised politician into some meaningful position of power in the Federal govt. That may still happen, he is still a willing Quisling for Communists, both foreign and domestic. The moment Biden blurted out the truth about Obama, being a unashamed communist, Richardson leaped onto news shows trying to cover up the fact. So, not only could you have a coup if Obama tries to take office, the coup could have its own coup, having factions loyal to different US enemies if Richardson is able to ride the wave in.

As much as I respect Sir Winston Churchill, seeing what is facing the US, and how close we are to being completely compromised in the next few months, I am beginning to doubt this famous statement: " Democracy is the worst form of government there is, except for all the others."

Mark my words, there will be a coming martial law and when it comes you can say goodbye to the American way.The patriot act is just the first in a series of recent laws passed by Bush, coincide that with the fact that Bush and paulson are suddenly buying up all these shares of banks that were going down"some that were not"and you have to admit that it makes you wonder what the "real" agenda is for all this.Dont look now but the goverment is slowly trying to take away our freedom. Its only going to get worse people.

Naomi Wolf says a military coup has already taken place, beginning on October 1, 2008, and the only thing to do is to reverse the coup by arresting the people who did it.

Thanks for the tip about Naomi Wolf. I think you can relax on that claim. I am only vaguely familiar with her work and had no opinion on her - until I read that she is married (according to Wiki) to someone who worked for the Clinton's, which devalues anything she could ever say. Its likely that her comparisons and analysis would be anything but honest. As far as I know,****Morris and Vince Foster were the only Clinton employees who redeemed themselves by speaking (or trying to speak) truthfully.

So, take it easy, I wouldn't pay too much attention to anything Ms. Wolf has to say, but do you see how much better off we would be as a nation if we have a complete de-Clintonization of America, just like we had a de-Nazification of Germany and de-Baathification of Iraq. This would be the removal and discrediting of all people who feathered their nest, directly or indirectly, while these twisted regimes were in power. For the most part, no one tainted by these associations can ever be trusted, and a de-Clintonization effort would prevent their scurrilous claims from ever seeing the light of day.

Just this once, and I will never reply to one of your messages again. New rule: Your IQ must be this high for me to converse. Otherwise- waste of time!

Whole ACORN thing is a ruse. if you cant see it- well.....Not sure how you think minimum wage employees writing up false voter registrations for people who will never vote just so they can collect a measly paycheck is like a coup. And the fact that ACORN had gone through the registrations and separated the questionable ones, but BY LAW they must turn them in............

McCain Campaign Paid Republican Operative Accused of Voter Fraud

John McCain paid $175,000 of campaign money to a Republican operative accused of massive voter registration fraud in several states, it has emerged.
The documents show that a joint committee of the McCain-Palin campaign, the Republican National Committee and the California Republican Party, made the payment to Lincoln Strategy, of which Mr Sproul is the managing partner, for the purposes of "voter registration".
In October last year, the House Judiciary Committee wrote to the Attorney General requesting answers regarding a number of allegations against Mr Sproul's firm, then known as Sproul and Associates. It referred to evidence that ahead of the 2004 national elections, the firm trained staff only to register Republican voters and destroyed any other registration cards, citing affidavits from former staff members and investigations by television news programmes.

One former worker testified that "fooling people was key to the job" and that "canvassers were told to act as if they were non-partisan, to hide that they were working for the RNC, especially if approached by the media," according to the committee's letter. It also cited reports from public libraries across the country that the firm had asked to set up voter registration tables claiming it was working on behalf of the non-partisan group America Votes, though in fact no such link existed.

Such activities "clearly suppress votes and violate the law", wrote John Conyers, the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. The letter suggested that the Judiciary Department had failed to take sufficient action on the allegations because of the politicisation of the department under the then-attorney general, John Ashcroft.

That year, Mr Sproul's firm was paid $8,359,161 by the Republican Party, according to a 2005 article in the Baltimore Chronicle, which claimed that this was far more than what had been reported to the Federal Elections Commission.

Now- how is a non-profit group of lawyers who try to protect the constitution and constitutional right of EVERY citizen in the US un-american?

Manchurian Candidate? Now, I do believe that there is one condidate that was held for years as a POW- now it all makes sense.

I like your philosophical approach, KitchenerKat. Here is a similar philosophy question it made me think about: how many philosophers were killed in Nazi concentration camps while wondering how many angels can dance on the head of a pin, even as people died all around them?

Another fun question about philosophers: how many willing egghead philosophers, who were useful idiots for Lenin and helped communism overthrow the government, later found themselves in Lubyanka Prison accused as traitors? That must have been quite a doozey philosophical quandary. Here they were being a faithful communist, "down with the struggle" so to speak, only to find that in reality they were gullible suckers, and a group of corrupted people, i.e. Acorn, ACLU, leftists, communists, associates of Obama, etc. effortlessly took advantage of them big time.

So, as long as we're into philosophy, let me try a type of short hand summary, might be fun for discussion.

!= means not equal
== means equal

So, your good question and set up (in my short hand):
army brigade != solutions to problems?

My alternate questions (in short hand):

army brigade == good people to have around?
leftists == bad people to have around?
leftists == foolish people controlled by criminal types?
leftists == inhabited by dishonest intellectuals?
Acorn == controlled by leftists?
Acorn == corrupt front for Obama and election fraud?
Acorn supporters == gullible saps, deluded philosophers, criminal types.
Acorn organizers == stoking flames of racism and class hatred for personal gain?
Acorn organizers == eroding gains of civil rights movements for selfish political gain?
Acorn != any solutions to problems?

Take care, Hep
