He voted down legislation that dealt with late term abortions and granted that may look like he supports them. Fact of the matter is that babies born alive, even during an abortion, were already protected under Illinois law. A law that Obama claims he supports. | |

That's about as racist of a remark possible. So you are saying that all the blacks in the government did it all right? Ever hear of Kilpatrick? I think he was the mayor of Detroit wasn't he?
The topic is "Take THAT Michigan!! Love, John McCain - the OP talks about his pulling out of Michigan and asks how it will effect your vote...i.e. a Presidential election topic. Now name me one President that wasn't White or one President that was not of a Christian denomination. Interesting that you immediately read into my post as being racist. Personally, I think the men have made a mess of things. All men in power should step down and let US take over.
I would add 'white christian' to the 'men' part.
Now name me one President that wasn't White...
The post you replied to had NOTHING to do with the Presidents. You suggested to replace "men" with "white christian men". It's racist and you know it.

Correct, and you didn't see any jumping up and down saying that the give a crap about babies being born alive and that they would like to see them adopted either now did you? Since when did we all become so cold and place our moral values on money over our off-spring? I stand by th0se word's since that is what has been shown here. I don't hear any complaining or attempts to support these babies right to life.
Fact of the matter is that..
I guess you missed this and yes it's well worth you taking a look at, since you apparently do not have the whole story.
Obama may have spun it in words that you have obviously swallowed, but the fact is, he wants these babies to die in the arms of a person who is to ONLY hold him/her. NO CARE is to be GIVEN, NO NURTURING, NOTHING....

Let me get this right. So, the 98 members of the Unites States Senate voted unanimous 98-0 in favor of allowing these babies survive and helping them survive
I will repeat, it's not about being BORN.....it's about being born to a DECENT life and parents that want you.....adoption is GREAT! But, a lot don't opt for it.....WHY?
Cause the states make it too easy for women to bear children OUT of wedlock......MANY.....by different fathers....it becomes a way of life.......and we, the taxpayers get to support this 'privilege' thru Medicaid....
The children grow up unwanted, and unloved......and, next thing ya know, they are robbing OUR houses for drug money........!
These are not YOUR offspring, Jakked.....these are the offspring of people who should have never out-sprung to begin with......cause they don't give a hoot........
I have wanted children badly all my life. Too late now. Couldn't afford to raise one on my own.
And, I SURE as heck take offense to those who bear children figuring the State of Michigan or the Gov't will take care of them.......
That's why I am 'pro-choice'. The 'choice' may be a neglected, abused, victimized child.
It may be hard for all to deal with late abortions.......but how about watching stories where two year olds are slammed into the wall by momma's BF? Or left in dumpsters?
