I've been dating for 25+ years. It's true it's not a random sample. I only date women to whom I'm attracted and in general have at least an undergraduate degree, although the latter is due more to circumstance. However, I don't ever ask them about what they will do, so there is nothing that makes them predisposed to thinking about sex any differently than other women. If you would like to claim that attractive women with a lot of education are more likely to swallow, be my guest.
Please, there are way too many variables beyond education and looks that come into play with the relatively small sample of women you've dated to even try and extrapolate your 50% statistic to the rest of females. Geographical location, race/ethnicity, cultural upbringing, religious beliefs, political beliefs, dating history and experience, sexual history and experience, age and a whole list of other things.
That you would even think that the women you've dated somehow accurately represent all females is pretty laughable though. | |

You also fail to recognize sarcasm when you see it. However, I'm willing to stand by the 50% number and quote a margin of error of about 13%. I'll let you figure out the sample size that corresponds to that margin of error. (I'm excluding women who have only told me they do or don't from this. They could be lying to get me in bed. Otherwise, the margin of error would be smaller.)

Let's see, sexual history: 2 virgins: yes. a couple of women with >100 partners yes and no, lots in between. Age: all under 30. Religion: Athiest to jewish to catholic to methodist to who knows. Political beliefs: all over the map. Race: caucaisan. Cultural upbringing: Is U.S. generic a culture? Geographic location: Texas, the conservative hell hole. However, you could throw in what color car they drove. Before you start tossing in variables, you should have some idea of why you think it matters. Maybe I got the only women in the U.S. that swallow. You left out the most important factor: I'm such a stud that no one but me experiences that large a percentage.

The FACT remains that blowjob = fellatio = oral stimulation of the penis (see Webster). Swallowing not included. Hell, orgasm isn't even included.

A lot of women won't even consider giving a man a blow job, much less swallow his semen. Honestly, it's not one of my favorite things to do during sex, but if I'm with a person I care for deeply that is a different story. It's kind of like men who say they LOVE oral, but will only lick a woman's clitoris. Same principle really---if they won't slide their tongue down below and taste her, why in the hell would she want to taste him?
The other thing I laugh about is that some men won't even consider kissing a woman whose mouth has been on or near his penis, but that same man will hold her head down on his c*ck until he erupts in her mouth. What is up with that?? I mean if it's YOUR fluids and your penis---why would it matter if you kiss her after? I'm not one to beat a topic to death, because it serves no real purpose. Ideally, I'd hope that a woman and man discuss the things they like or dislike prior to becoming intimate so there are no surprises or disappointments on either side of the fence.
Do I swallow everytime--um that would be a NO, but the times I did it was, in my opinion, a special gift I chose to give HIM alone and no one else. Swallowing maybe routine for some women, but for many other's it is not. I would rather savor the intimacy shared than worry about every little aspect of it. BTW, I have no real desire to have a man perform oral on me, but I have no objection doing that for him--but that is just me.

I'm not aware of any research that compares specific amounts. I'm sure it's out there, so if you're truly that interested then I'm sure you can find it =)
Common sensically, women would not be able to "fake" orgasms if there was a significant amount of fluid expelled upon orgasm. For the most part, a man cannot fake an orgasm.
There's also the fact that HIV is more readily transmitted in heterosexual cases from male-to-female rather than female-to-male. This is has to do with amount of bodily fluids exchanged. More semen is produced than vaginal fluids (again, squirters set aside).
