You say you go away alot to different countries.. you say you prefer greeks to Irish.. now you say you prefer the Arabs...
Please dont take this the wrong way but why dont you just go n seek yourself a nice fine Sugar daddy!!!
I did not say I prefer Arabs but I said it would be easier for me to charm them...
Re Suggar Daddy, why not.. if he is going to be over too busy and leave me alone most of the time and of course be prepared to listen to my endless theories about the social changes which should be done as well as be decent looking and not close to a pervert .

| Have you got your heating on yet? Posted: 10/6/2008 12:54:24 PM | Didn't really want to admit this, but with you all complaining about the cold I couldn't hold my tongue any longer.
I live in a caravan, not a luxury static job, but a little one that can be towed behind your average saloon car. It has next to no insulation, and when it's cold, I only get out of bed to go to the toilet.
Now this morning it was bl**dy freezing and there's no point putting on the little electric fan heater before I go to work. So the thermal longjonhs will be coming out of the drawer soon and used as pyjamas again!
Would like a nice lady to snuggle up to, but I'm guessing none of them want to sleep in a caravan for more than a weeks holiday. Nevermind, I always have the hot water bottle.
I forget who asked the question about Calor Gas heaters, but I do have some experience as Gas is the main heating for the caravan. Make sure you get it serviced regularly and immediately if the flame changes colour from blue to yellow. No one wants you to get carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning. CO is a colourless, odourless gas that KILLS. I would suggest that you do not fall asleep when using this type of heater. You also need plenty of ventilation in the room.
It's raining at the moment so I'm hoping that the clouds stay all night and keep me nice and toasty, clear autumn/winter nights are the worst. I'm in Cornwall so as far as I can see you're all Northen Monkeys. lol.
PS: back to topic, the heater is on.

Now there's an offer someone as optimistic as you si-denada wouldn't refuse with your half -full outlook on life hahahaha.." Wicaphi
In response to you ladies...
I've never been known to back away from a challenge, though I think someone's big ends are knocking! This would be a bad start for a successful engine.
Hey caveman you should try wearing a pair of ladies tights.
My brother is a builder, who works out in extreme weather conditions and he swears by the insulation they produce; he has already tried the long johns. Wasn't so smart though when he ripped his jeans after falling off the trestles and ripped the whole leg completely off...the other workmen were in stitches laughing when they saw what he had on underneath, and I bought him pretty polly's for his birthday in a beautiful see-through shade.

There is a saying that every journey begins with a little step. At least I could once in my life try using my degree in engineering and make it useful I had to spend 4 months learning about the engines .. not that I remember any of that now and you studied science too hehe
So c'mon maybe after all spending time on a dating site is not meant to be for us..
I always knew I'd be famous for something.. so give it a try... for the sake of fame !!
Just imagine the two of us on the front of The Times

| Have you got your heating on yet? Posted: 10/6/2008 11:23:48 PM | You girls are going off on a tangent aren't you!
Last night I was sooooo cold, I couldn't sit and watch telly when I got back home, so I ended up going up to bed at 10pm and putting the heating on low in my bedroom. I fell asleep almost instantly and woke up with the lights on, the laptop on and the tv, so not quite a fuel saving exercise.
I don't want to lose my evenings :( Mind you, I do feel surprisingly awake this morning for me at 7.23am.

| Have you got your heating on yet? Posted: 10/6/2008 11:47:42 PM | In reply to the query about calor gas heaters - this was what I used in the kitchen until I got my new central heating!!
It was brilliant in that it did kick out a lot of heat quickly - great for mornings when you only need heat for a couple of mins before leaving the house but was very expensive in comparison to using ordinary mains gas and it was a real drag having to take it to the calor gas agent every couple of weeks. The cylinders are often dirty, rusty, wet, scratch the boot of your car and very very heavy.
They are great if you have no alternative but if you have other options i would not advise them.

| Have you got your heating on yet? Posted: 10/7/2008 4:36:22 AM | | Thanks for your comment regarding Calor gas Sue. I remember my parents had one and their house was warmer than when they had central heating on instead. I don't drive but I gather deliveries can be made although I don't want to spend a Saturday at home waiting for one! It is just our flat (on two levels with a flight of stairs) gets so cold. The radiators are boiling hot, we have double glazing but the place just doesn't seem to get warm which is why we rarely have it on and prefer to dress warm instead and perhaps use an electric fan heater for a few minutes with the living room door closed. Anyway, thanks again. | |
