I agree with Punkinpie, this is no punishment for the pain inflicted on an innocent bystander. I would be annoyed at this if the guy causing the trouble was British, French, German, Martian whatever.

You're right, there is no real consequence for them. I know how much being assaulted can affect someone with regards to fear, panic attacks, flashbacks etc, but that's never taken into account when it comes to punishment.

Someone has done a serious wrong to someone, they should be punished, period. It has nowt whatsoever to do with their nationality. She's not asking for the death penalty!!

You rant away Punkinpie, you have every right to.
