I just wish I would have arrived sooner cause I didn't want to quit I was having such fun..... the music was great, had great friends with me and oh he did smell GREAT! ..... I forgot to mention he can DANCE! 
I want to try and get a party together for Nov 22nd to go to this place and celebrate mine and Dodie's birthday. It is Callahan's on the outer road .. Imperial, MO. (some might say Arnold MO)
Oh I forgot....this group plays country... yes I admit I listen to and love country. So mark your calendar Nov 22. I already talked to the owner there and they will keep a section of the tables reserved if I give them a heads up notice.

I am sooo not into country music...VERY little of it...so I doubt I would enjoy Callhans...but being from the area...I have never even heard of it! LOL Nice new haircut, Suse! I have been thinking of trying a short 'do but I don't think I have the face shape to pull it off!
Cammie...no problem...got Sherry down for the door then...you all have a good time at the lake. I for one, will do at least one RHS for ya! LOL | |

Posted: 10/20/2008 3:48:12 PM | I enjoy the country tunes at times even if Karaoke or otherwise and those who can actually sing..Susie, you missed a good time last night at Hot Spot in High Ridge, I rode over there along with Dodie for awhile and ended up closing down the bar, now would you expect anything else

Hey...I can honestly say I am a fan of the Strat...but not many places offer everything in one spot...cold drinks, reasonable prices, sports, music, dancing, hotel, food, great servers, etc! ;)
OK...so let's make it an official post in this thread....WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS WEEKEND?! ;O) Well, unless you are brain dead, deaf, dumb, and blind...you know that it is the Rocky Horror Stratford Show Halloween Party at the Strat!! Sat Oct 25th...be there, or forever hold yer' piece! Errr...Peace!! I do that every time! ;) | |

It was funnnnnnnnnnnn I wish we could get a group of people to go there on Sunday nights to take Salsa dancing.
Hey dude, have you been praticing?? I certaintly hope so.
Can you believe there were only 4 of us taking salsa dance lessons and two of them were older ladies... God love em. Talk about getting personal attention with the dance lessons. I am planning on going this coming sunday again if anyone is interested.
7 to 8 pm Salsa Dance lessons $5 is what the charge but that does include dancing afterwards frrom 8 to 11... oh and they actually brought out food for us. That is just too unreal.
I forgot to mention what great exercise dancing is. | |

Friday evening I have a Happy Hour to attend from 4:30-? for coworkers who are retiring at the end of the month, so Kat, I will drop off the balloons after work and then run away to get a little tipsy.
Chrissy..I'm venturing away from the boats for awhile, it's been a long while, however, I'd be up for some dancing or something later that evening if somewhere around the area. I'll look to see what's going on..I doubt I'll get much dancing in on Saturday night, you know me I'm the 'social butterfly' and I'll be going around the room like I did last month to see if everyone is having a good time  | |

Tuesday nights dance lessons start at 7 pm on Concord School Road... look at wcsdc.com for more info
also at the Stratford Inn On Wednesdays and Thursday I think they said there are some sort of dance lessons... oh and Friday they have Swing Dance lessons.
sunday nights at the Stratford Inn.. they started Salsa Dance lessons.
There is a charge for these eveents to get in.
It is great fun and great exercise. | |
