| Who did you spend Thanksgiving with?
Posted: 10/17/2008 7:50:16 PM | Went to my cottage to meet up with my parents and my brother. It's our annual closing weekend so we get to enjoy the holiday there. Fall colours were wonderful. Normally I get sad at the end of the summer and hate to see the leaves change. This year I was looking forward to it and got some great pictures. It was a lovely weekend with wonderful weather, and some pretty decent company.  | |

Posted: 10/17/2008 8:57:22 PM | | I can relate. I spent the day with my 3 sons and prepared a huge spread for my who came back from Jamaica that same day to enjoy with us. My wife and I are having problems so it was nice to appreciate the positive things in my life for a change. We had a lovely dinner, went to separate beds for the night and the next day we came out fighting. I can't wait for my marriage to either move forward or end - either way. Aside from that life is great! No lies! | |

Posted: 10/17/2008 8:57:49 PM | | I spent Saturday with my son and some time with my parents. On Sunday I spent the day at Peterborough Speedway with a few hundred stock car drivers and several thousand race fans. On Monday I had supper with my brother and his family. It was a great weekend! | |

| Who did you spend Thanksgiving with?
Posted: 10/18/2008 5:21:18 AM | Last weekend brought one surprise for my sister and me. Our long-lost brother phoned us after an old friend of his found him on the net. Though it was disheartening to hear he s still struggling with alcoholism, it was nice to laugh, share, and catch up with him after eleven years.
Saturday night was spent with my sister, niece and greatniece. We had tacos and tortilla soup for dinner. Yummy!!
Monday night I went to church for the outreach dinner. We shared a bounty of turkey stew, rice, peas, corn...and a multitude of dessert choices. Nearly one hundred people came and no one went away hungry! | |
