Posted: 1/16/2009 4:58:12 PM | I cry because it's a cleansing release for me at times...wether it be sadness, frustration, stress related, and I especially cry when I am happy. I am playfully called the "female Michael Landon" in my family, because I supposedly can cry at the drop of a hat. Not true,lol, but there is never anything wrong with crying. Anyone who can't deal with our tears and walks away are cowards in my book, because they are seeing the trueness of our hearts, regardless of the cause.

Posted: 1/21/2009 8:15:19 PM | Hmmmm..... last time I REALLY cried (more than a tear or two) was a few months ago and I cried for a good week solid. I'm not big on crying and especially not big on crying in front of other people! I'll walk away before I let someone see me cry. Before that... hmmm.... honestly, I couldn't tell you because I don't remember... which tells me it's been a while...

Posted: 2/17/2009 6:15:51 AM | I can't remember the last time I cried.....I don't like to cry, but every now and then I'll have a good cry session (for something like a death).
I remember I cried during "Bridges of Madison County" and "What Dreams May Come"....but crying during movies I think is stupid, so go figure! They just touched me!
I cry when I laugh hard!
I really wish I could cry more often, it's such a good emotional release......

Posted: 2/18/2009 6:50:59 AM | I don't cry over things that happen to me anymore. Long ago when bad stuff happened I thought "why me?" Now I sort of shrug and think "why not me?" I am far too blessed to whine much!
If I cry today it is totally unexpected and triggered by something that just hits me. There are some country songs out there that were specifically designed to get me to cry. Most of these have to do with daddys walking their daughters down the aisle or soldiers who selflessly give their all. Gets me every darn time... | |

Posted: 2/18/2009 11:25:32 AM | I cried yesterday, when I watched the Michael Bay film Pearl Harbor. The tragedy of the Japanese bombing the legendary U.S. port, in addition to the two best friends fighting over the love of the same woman, and the one best friend finally perishing after his B-17 crashes into Japanese territory and he's shot just after he learns he's going to be a father (Josh Hartnett...saying to Ben Affleck "No...YOU are (going to be a father)" before he dies) really ripped my frickin' heart out, and reminded me of the close bond I had with my brother and that utter pain and helplessness I felt when I knew he was going to die and I knew there was nothing I could to stop it...so I cried.
We cry as a release. It's healthy. It frees the pain in our spirits so we can feel healthy again. | |

I miss my children, I have been the faimily guy for 20 years, I don't know how to be anything else, my heart breaks every time I want to say goodnight, of how was your day? or let me see your smiling face, I love my kids, my cheating ex stole that from me, I will never never never get past that, just learn to deal with it, keep it inside, share what I can with my children when we have the opportunity, the thing is as much as it hurts it's better to let it out when you can, weeping has a therapudic effect, we are made this way, just let it happpen, if you don't you will only become more bittter, we hurt beceause our hearts are good, so if your don't hurt or cry you probably are not a caring loving person, hmm my ex has not shed a tear during the whole thing, see 2+2 >> no crying = no heart
move on, choose carfully

Actually by the person's bedside in the hospital.
The cancer was thought to be operable & in the end,turned out it had spread,so the surgery was no longer possible.

Posted: 3/14/2009 12:00:50 AM | Tuesday night. I had to leave some fantastic people behind. I have just been overseas doing work experience at a lion and tiger sanctuary and mt some wonderful people over there. And after 2 months i had to leave to come back home. I still miss them but plan on going back!
Its good to cry occasionally!! Just not 24/7! | |

I cry when, no matter what I do, I still feel a big, black hole in my heart. It seems I just haven't met the right person yet, or maybe I haven't interacted with them sweetly enough or something...don't want to be clingy but at the same time, want to be vulnerable with someone.
The medical field is infused with sickness and death, and people need to blow off steam somehow, even if it's by transferring their misery into you-! Try not to take it personally.
I too find myself gravitating toward the medical field, even though I watched my brother die, in agonizing pain, in a hospital bed, and hate hospitals. He died of cancer. I'll probably end up working in an oncology ward. Something about wanting to face my demons. | |

Posted: 3/14/2009 8:34:10 PM | Last night, watching Ghost which I haven't seen since I was a teenager. The scene that got me was the penny scene, cause since when my uncle passed away, my mom always said that pennies and dimes on the ground were signs of him, so she would always pick them up. Now, they are signs for me since she is gone. Seeing the penny thing just got to me cause she knew he was there, and it's like how I know she is there. Often, I don't cry over romantic love, but familial love cause it feels much more viable to me than anything else anymore.

begin to leave watever isnt healthy, people, jobs, your own beliefs and habits..
anything that keeps you small...
my own judgement called it disloyel..but now i see it as self loving....
Its ok to cry, rather healthy actually..i should know i"ve cried every day for 12 months and still see no end to it...
