Just because a female is open and honest about things in the sex forums doesn't equate to her being promiscuous.

I agree with that after all this is not a public hall it is a forum if you would like to post or read fine. There is a place for everything. Now onto the women who post why should they be conciderd promiscuous, this is life you either can participate or sit back , there not supose to like sex , or talk about it, same for guys as well as long as it is at the appropriate time and place and this happens to be one.

Some people do seem to think that if you post in this forum you must be just as generous with your vagina as you are with your words.

Gernerally, I find that if they have average intelligence they can see you are just being open about yourself and your experiences, as opposed to trolling for e-dates and phone bones.

The stupider men apparently believe that we women who post in here walk about town wearing crotchless underwear and nipple tassles saying "hey big boy let me weigh your balls with my tongue" as a standard greeting.

LMAO..yeah, have to be pretty stupid..I'm not looking for casual sex anyway, but if I were..I'd think the women who post so much about how wild they are are 99% full of shite and post on POF as an outlet for their fantasies rather than enacting them in real life.

come to think of it, that probably applies to many of the men who post about their supposed wild sex lives & zany sexual escapades

I'm not even talking about the women who post lurid details of every sexual encounter, god of rock. I'm talking about people who just jump in with a wise crack or a comment. SOME men, with lower intelligence, see a couple of posts on your page from the sex forum and think "TRAMP."

I actually agree with you on the 99% on bullsh*t that is posted in these threads.

Now that you've mentioned it, I am sitting here in my turtleneck and chastity belt in the nunnery as we type.

Just because you have an opinion and know what you like and don't like and are open in a forum discussing doesn't make you a "tramp" or a "man-ho", is means you are comfortable and confident in your sexuality enough to articulate it.

You can be physically mature and sexually immature, hell it seems alot of folks on these sites are, if you read long enough.

But that doesn't mean that if you are of healthy mind and body and have a respect for human sexuality, the joy it gives, and the dangers and risks involved, and the steps you can take to avoid them; that doesn't make you unhealty in mind or body; In fact, just the opposite.

If somebody is too sexually, mentally or emotionally immature to realize or understand this, you can make a nasty comment, but that's all you can do, and it's gonna end right there. Whatever get's you through the night, man.

But you will never convince one person or the other that their sexuality and opinion as such is wrong. Which is fine. To each his/her own. I don't have to live by your standards and you don't have to live by mine.

But at least, in a forum discussion we should be able to communicate freely without getting personal. Reporting personal attacks is proper, but to "rat" on somebdy for their topic, when you had the option to avoid it is childish and immaturity as it's worst.

If viewing adult theme discussions make you sqeamish, just click off. And never go back. You are responsible for your behavior just like we are responsible for our own. Anybody who finds these things uncomfortable, should avoid them. The purpose of forums like this is for people who do like to discuss and learn from others input and experience. If that offends you, peice of mind is only a click away.

Hi,
I wrote to you simply because I did not want to further reply to my post to put in back to the top. If I replied there, that's what would happen.
I enjoy getting email from men or women, they can say whatever they want to. I've made some good friends both men and women. I am happy to get them and I reply to everyone.
I feel it is very RUDE not to reply to someone who took their time to write. Of course, the choice is yours, if you don't want to be bothered then just delete them, that's what the delete button is for. LOL.
Don't worry I will never write to you again.
I do not think you are trash, you are person like the rest of us who has a right to their own opinion.
I find your replies interesting.
Take care. Cheryl.

My reply was directed towards the point of the OP. So I'm not sure to whom you are addressing your response to. I'm adressing the fact that attacking people who post on here for their opinions is not what forums are about. I do not believe Ms. Micki or anybody else should be banned for expressing their opinions in an open forum; And would ask those who are squeamish on such topics to avoid posting in forums where they will attack somebody for being honest and contributing towards a given topic. If your post is directed towards me, I am confused as I personally have never recieved any message by you, nor would expect to since I live in the states. But if anybody on this board has upset you perhaps you should message them directly for better chance at feedback.

MsMicki~personally, I have enjoyed many of your posts due to the fact you are blunt, upfront & honest.

I am the same way...that is just how I am. However, I have never received negative PM's because of what I have said. Actually, I have received many, from both men & women, who told me they enjoy my posts.

I would hope people in the forums, especially this one regarding sex & sexual topics, would have a maturity level high enough to handle what is discussed and to not pass judgment as to what a person says. However, some subjects are "touchy" and people can get a little impassioned...that is just the way it is.

NO woman should be labeled a "promiscuous slut" simply because she is comfortable enough to discuss sex! After all, aren't the cave man days long over?

I hope not. I kind of like cave man ways. Grab you by your hair and drag you to his cave. Granted, the personal hygiene wasn't the greatest back then...

NO woman should be labeled a "promiscuous slut" simply because she is comfortable enough to discuss sex!

Unfortunately, only matronly women like Dr. Ruth, or Dr. Sue Johanssen (sp) can be taken seriously. I think insecure and uninformed men are highly uncomfortable about a "hot" or attractive woman having more knowledge and being more open about discussing sexual issues. I think they feel threatened. The June Cleaver type would make a guy feel more like "the man" and a strong modern woman who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to say so, makes him feel like a mouse. Especially if his sex ed went no further than the sticky pages of a Penthouse.
To me there is a difference between discussing sex and just being a trash mouth. I don't think some men can distinguish the difference.
Same thing in general communication - if a woman expresses her concern about something, she is "bi!ching or nagging. If a man does the same, he is problem solving, or being assertive.
I got a negative email from a guy who was nasty and abusive towards other women in the forum, and also sending angry emails to other women. Something all of the women he targeted had in common was, discussing sex or having strong opinions and humor about relationships between men and women in their profiles or the forums. He had a definite problem with outspoken women - his profile is gone. Well his sticky magazines won't talk back.

I used to go to gays bars with friends when I was younger and was just a bit fearful around the lesbians there, (especially the masculine ones) until I grew up and matured, knew who I was, knowing that no one could talk me into anything I didn't want to do and no one was going to force me into anything. There have been times that men have been big enough jerks that it made me wish I was gay. At least women would be more familiar with female anatomy. I also know that gay relationships can be just as dysfunctional as hetero.

Men....do you truly believe a woman is a "promiscuous slut" because she is willing to be honest and straightforward in the discussions here?

that would entirely depend on what the definition of a slut is ? You can put lipstick and makeup on a pig, but its still a pig....

Thats because the issue is not a gender issue at its root. :)

I've only had one negative email....
In each case, I was surprised...

Ms Micki

I read these sex forums, along with a lot of your replys and such. Along with the other women who are blunt. I DO NOT think about you as hook ups or sluts. We should be
grown ups here and sexuality is apart of our lives. I'd like to thank you and the other women who can be straightforward in these forums. I hope I can find a lady of my own
that can be at ease discussing our sexuality and sensuality.

I just wish the use of proper words and not the slang used that just cheapens our bodies
and a beautiful act. That's so non adult.

I thought there was a thread on this topic.....but after numerous searches....couldn't find it...
So, my apologies if this is redundant. I am not looking fo pity....I can handle what comes my way no problem.....just curious to what others are thinking.

After recieving a few PM's regarding my bluntness in these forums....I started wondering how many other women were recieving these kind of messages.

I have recieved PM's from men that think I am looking for a hookup.....
I have recieved PM's from men stating they would never go out with a woman "such as myself"
I have recieved PM's from women that love what I have to say
and I have recieved PM's from women telling me I am nothing but trash.

SO.......ladies......are u getting negative feedback because of your posts here?
Men....do you truly believe a woman is a "promiscuous slut" because she is willing to be honest and straightforward in the discussions here?

alls i got were a few girls looking for hookups. no hate mail, yet

MsMicki,

I no more think a person (male or female) who is forthright and open in discussions of sex to be a promiscuous slut. Promiscuity is more a matter of actions and mind set, rather than knowledge and opinion.

In a like manner, I woldn't label a person who is reserved in their discussions of sex in an open environment to be a prude or frigid.

I don't get emails. When women read my profile the forum posts they know I'm more than they want sexually. I don't care I'm getting enough and the best sex ever. I used to get emails before posting on the forums and hiding my profile.

isn't it amazing the different varieties that hang out in the sex forums!
Just read a thread yesterday where a very regular poster that hangs out in the sex threads, and discusses her sexual activites w/ her boyfriend.....stated she was a Reverend!!
I wanna go to that church!!

and yes, all these months later, I still get a few negative messages in my email!!
Usually from someone that couldn't handle the truth in a thread they started!!
