Posted: 2/15/2007 12:25:47 PM | | My self, havnt been in love, maby its just because I try to avoid it; I find that love can warp and control a person, love is a emotion that can make u open your heart out and do things that you normaly wouldent do, but @ the same time, there is a word called hate, which is oppostie of love, this is the 1 thing I fear, If true love did exist, then I believe I wouldent scare so much, but as I said, Love can be used to open your self up to some1 whom you'll never say 2 ney1 else, thus, when that love is gone, it can be used against you, can also cripple yah. | |

Posted: 3/10/2007 6:47:55 AM | For me, in love is the "floating on the clouds, silly grin all the time" feeling...almost like a drug. The brain does release chemicals into the brain to cause this feeling.
It was also the only time that I loved totally unconditionally, someone who was a romantic interest. I absolutely knew it for what it was. I always wondered before, but when it happened there was NO doubt.
Growing to love for me was just as strong, but different. Falling in love, I just woke up one morning and there i was, in love.
It was wonderful. Growing to love, however, was just as strong..if not more so once it had grown to be love. That kind of love grows deep roots, and can grow ever stronger if fostered with care. This is a love of choice, the gratifying giving kind...that supports and enriches anothers life.
Regardless of which kind of love you experience, you should be great friends when the "honeymoon" period is over...because the friendship is what weathers the storms, bonds you, and is what you have when everything else may be gone (like looks, youth). | |

Posted: 3/27/2007 1:30:36 AM | Only once to the point of shorting all logic, rational thought, and self preservation instincts, of course not fully returned.
One other time before that that was love, but much higher on her end.
So I have been on both sides, and now I think have a balanced mature view that can only come from experience. I have been with a few women since then, but for raw emotion the bar has been set high, hopefully I never reach that again, I don't think I would survive, lol. | |

Now that I think back I KNOW I wasn't in love all the times I thought I was. I suppose my answer would be twice so far, because those are the relationships I can still smile about and know it wasn't infatuation. | |

I found out what it felt to be in love with him. It's been a year since I have seen him, and since he left....I haven't been the same. He changed me so much for the better (and worse in ways). He will always be the love of my life, my Pawpaw (Paul), my everything, but I am hoping that it can happen twice in a lifetime......xxxcrosses fingersxxx | |
