| How many times have you been in love? Posted: 7/22/2007 1:26:13 PM | | I've been fortunate enough to find "true love" twice in my lifetime. Both times, I was around 17-20. Unfortunately, I met one while overseas and the other just before leaving for university. I'm still searching for the third and final true love. | |

| How many times have you been in love? Posted: 9/14/2007 10:46:00 PM | | There can be so many different feelings of love, it comes with all emotions. But to answer the question, no, I have never been in love. Been in lust once, THOUGHT it was love and then grew up and realized I was only kidding myself and the other person. But it WILL happen one day, I'm very sure about that. Of course it may come years from now, but HEY, I'm OK with that. I'm not in any hurry to find it. My parents have told me all my life that it will happen when I least expect it to, and I truly believe that. So I've stopped searching. If it is supposed to happen, then it will and if not, then it was never meant to be for me to be in love. | |

| How many times have you been in love? Posted: 12/30/2007 1:15:42 PM | I don't know. I honestly don't. I'm not even sure what love is. I know I have feelings that have lasted a lifetime in one case but I was only ever with him brief periods of time. Is that love?
Compare that to my last boyfriend who I told I would not stay a lifetime with even though he asked me to -- and bluntly said "somebody else but not you". That's not very loving.
Yet when everywhere I went I was told to relay the message that he had friends from out of looking for him - even though I knew he had no friends from out of town whatsoever - I put my own life on the line for the guy.
Got a crash course in 'not on my watch' from a chic I knew and went for broke. Is that love? Don't know.
I think the real thing is a future event that, like I said before, is going to surprise me and be my decision.

On the other hand, if there are any women who want a right to deal with this sort of crap just like a man, then go ahead...be my guest! It's a free country.

| How many times have you been in love? Posted: 12/30/2007 5:51:26 PM | | How many times have I been in love, well that's a good question, because to be honest I don't think i have, I've been in love with the idea of being in love although at the time I would have siad I was in love, but looking back like I said I was more in love with the idea of being in love, I've been in lust a few times, in love, a feeling that only gets stronger over time, some one i could see myself being with for the rest of my life, never..... even the ex hubby I was more in love with the idea than I was in love with him, that's sad right..... | |

| How many times have you been in love? Posted: 1/13/2008 8:41:10 AM | | ............ I lost count... Wait, do you count that girl you had a crush on in preschool? What about kindergarten? If so, then there was probably one girl for every year of my life (sometimes two) or was that one girl for every two years? I guess the longest period of time I've been in love would have been for 5 years. | |

Just when you think it won't happen it will sneak up on you and you won't even know it happened until it's to late. Don't be to down on it when you do have it, it's defiantly worth it. I have been in love twice once with my x and still love him as he gave me the 2 most wonderful children I can never not love him for that, and again just recently and although that hasn't worked out it was wonderful while it lasted. I hope that there is a love out there for me that fits better and hope you find your's 2.

| How many times have you been in love? Posted: 2/3/2009 8:09:21 AM | i'm not sure if i've ever really been in love
i thought i loved my ex husband, but because of the way that marriage was, the love died a bit at a time.... does real love do that? i know that even when i might occasionally dislike one of my children because of something they may have done or said, it's more the action/words i dislike, rather than them; i could never stop loving them - even if they don't show me that they love me back...
i wonder if being 'in love' could ever be that powerful? as powerful as the love i feel for them?
then there were other times where i've thought i've been in love, but i think, looking back, it was more obsession and neediness or lust, more than love... maybe more the idea of being in love, than the reality of the person (so easy to do, on-line especially)
