I've worked with peple who were once attractive and were disabled in some way and their significant other can't deal with it. Usually time and TLC takes control, but not always. When a person just walks away right away, I think they are mean and ugly. No compassion. Un or IN compassionate people SUCK. I hate them. | |

I thought this thread was about what you find instinctively and personally repulsive, it's not a matter of morality, or making someone a bad person - it's just that if it came down to making love to this person it would be a huge turn off.
If I saw someone with "ass dents", or bad skin, or a fat a***, or any of these things in trouble, I would extend a helping hand regardless. We are all human beings, I personally have a big social conscience and hate to see people in trouble, in need or undervalued. Was just having a bit of a laugh and a joke with what I thought was a light hearted thread.
But - on the point of friends - people tend to move in what they view as their own social group - "my kind of people". And like it or not, a persons physical appearance plays a part in that. | |

Posted: 8/10/2005 2:27:32 PM | i had a boyfriend who was not very attractive ...er...ok, our friends teased us an called us beauty an tha beast..... we didnt mind...we knew we looked odd together..an i was doin tv pilots at tha time so lookin good was part of my job........but when he listened to me, an was kind and gentle natured to others............that man was beautiful in my eyes.......he only became ugly in my eyes when he lost confidence in himself and started attackin everybody around him.....includin my kids..........
be kind to yerself ppl an keep yer self esteem in workin order.......thas how ya find true beauty.........its right there where we can all reach it | |

DNA has somthing to do with it.
This is a most general topic too. Ugly is a word that be described in a $hit load of ways.
I would have to say Hatred is ugly. And war is ugly. People are too much like snow flakes. Every one thinks they are different but for the most part were all in the same boat. Or pond.
