Your walking down the street and you see a man or women(whatever you perfer) your don't look twice b/c of there personality! Ugly can be both but someone needs to say something about looks. | |

Posted: 8/11/2005 12:10:45 AM | We all do ugly things ... sometimes. An ugly person is someone who does ugly things all the time.
We all behave in ways we should not ... occasionally.
We say things that are better left unsaid. We have all lied to someone and then tried to lie when caught. I can't think of a single perspon who is not (overly) opinionated on at least one topic, me included. We've all found ourselves in those pointless arguements where one wrong word at the wrong time finds you being belligerant and rude. The list goes on...
Me. Everyone I know. YOU .. We've all done that kind of thing at least once. We know better, but we get caught in the right time and place and next thing you know we're telling someone what a moron they are in our best condescending tone or trying to lie our way out of something that would have been better served by the truth.
Most of us learn very quickly from these mistakes. Once, twice and we set our egos aside and find a better way to behave, treat people, deal with things, etc...
A truly ugly person is someone who acts like this all the time and refuses to ever learn or grow. | |

Posted: 8/11/2005 12:44:01 PM | ok bugsy....i caint help it...i just happen to know theres alotta old ppl walkin in beauty thats timeless, i have seen tha character of a hero formed in a wrinkled brow...tha lines of hope and love form a bridge accross a generational divide....an i just caint let someone say that old age is ugly...its a journey we are all gonna take if we are lucky....whats tha alternative?
early death? yeah like thas real attractive....talk to someone who lost a loved one young...that kind of helpless heartache is an ugly thang!
i tell ya ...we have wasted a great commodity by placing our aging in nursing homes...and we have deprived our newest generation of the wisdom they could have had by maintaining close ties with our knowledgeable ones...
my grandma is 90 years old....and i cry at tha thought of her leavin me...and shes had a good active life an outlived 3 husbands.....shes walks in beauty thas timeless....why last year she had a 94 year old boyfriend come a callin and i walked in on him gettin some sugar!
so dont try tellin this mamas chile tha old age is ugly...cuz my grandma was beautiful in that fellers eyes.....an shes still beautiful in my eyes too! | |

ot: for the most part people are ugly because they want to be ugly. the mind is a very powerful thing and can over-come just about anything. if you don't want to be ugly like myself, you aren't ugly. if you choose to be ugly you will be. you change your attitude and everything else that goes with it to make you ugly. life is so much better when your not trying to be ugly. | |
