| Marriage 2nd time around? Posted: 4/21/2009 5:15:42 AM | | I think I would if the right one came along, I have already been married twice, one good one (widowed) and one bad, (divorced) I realised I jumped to quickly the second time but now I know the different, and what to look for, well I hope I do....maybe.... | |

We were not put on this earth to be alone and with Gods help most if not all of us will meet someone to make us smile and put fire in our belly again.

Marriage the 2nd time around is like christening your brand new rowing boat "Unsinkable 2"
There are several men I have met who should give up marriage of any number and just call their boat cirosis of the river.
And come someone tell me how come my redline spell check is not working...cos cirosis is wrong both in spelling and the disease.

| Marriage 2nd time around? Posted: 5/8/2009 5:21:39 AM | Well to finally conclude I have decided that I would NOT get married ever again.
Live with a partner - yes - but not do the wedding part.
Thanks to all those who have added their bits to this post.

| Marriage 2nd time around? Posted: 5/8/2009 7:46:07 AM | I actually dont think I could do it again. I totally loved being married but it is far too devastating when it all ends badly to ever consider going back there again. It is the blackest place I have ever known and I have absolutely no desire to ever revisit it.
So I guess self preservation is one of my strongest motivations and that alone would prevent me ever considering it again.
Unless the rock was really big of course...........

| Marriage 2nd time around? Posted: 5/24/2009 6:06:49 AM | | Now that little kids are out of the picture I doubt it. She'd really have to want to badly for me to even bother considering it. I don't see the point, there's better ways to show commitment. | |

Interesting comment. Such as what?
On topic: Absolutely would do it again. I loved being married. Just chose the wrong victim.

| Marriage 2nd time around? Posted: 5/24/2009 6:17:57 AM | I would marry again, although a marriage certificate to me is a piece of paper, it is a symbol of commitment to a person. Its not something I have to do, but I would hope that I have learned enough to a) make the right choice, and b) feel in love with somone enough that if I was thinking about a long term relationship with them that I would want to go that extra step.
Whats in the past I like to leave in the past, and just hoped I have learned enough from it.
