Posted: 11/10/2008 6:16:07 AM | Jen, Tigra and Engel - fab night, what a great job you did, thank you. The decorations were and inspiration as was your outfit Jen. I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening, danced to some wicked tunes although my wings did tend to get in the way.
The costumes were great well done everyone.
Was lovely catching up with old fishies; chippy, col, sheralyn, iceboxman, jen, roj, trev and kev and meeting new; blueeyesgirl, mickybear you devil you, lady in red(apologies I can't remember your name but I hope you caught a fish) and icebox's lady. Hope to see many of you at Brighton.
Special thanks to my guest for the evening at his first pof meet who talked my ears off on the journey down and slept on the way home xx | |

A BIG thank you to Julie bag and Purple ellie for the lift to and from the party as I would have never of made it this time And all these that helped made my evening that little bit better

The barstaff are always on the ball, and the djs aren't deaf.
Thanks are due to Jen and the gang!
It was wonderful to catch up with so many of my buddies/forum sparring partners, and to have made several new ones, especially Jackie.
The costumes were of a high standard, although I was disappointed that I failed to recognise so many under the make-up.
'Hi' to all my mates, and thanks for making the evening so special. In particular, to Roy (ace Dorian Gray), Perry, Sheralyn, Mark and Linda (how could I fail to recognise you?), Col, Zack, Nicki, Mags, Karen, Antonia, Cal (those wings!!) ,and Keith, plus many others.
Thanks are due to my housemates, who kept the entertainment going long into the night.
Special thanks are due to my host, Tony, who provided for us all so well.

The pictures are looking good, and looking forward to seeing them all, which reminds me I have not had a chance to check mine yet

Whoever owned that butler, please keep a closer eye on him. I swear he kept pinching my backside whenever i walked past.
That giant death doorway was fantastic. How big was that thing?
The costumes were brilliant and it was nice to see a couple that appeared on last years event photos. The death eater spooked me the first time I saw it and I'm saying nothing about the Predator except SUPERB.
There were so many outfits that I'm sure I'll forget some but of the ones I can remember,
The inflatable ghost looked wonderful. Shame I didn't have a spare pin to see if he'd fly once he got popped 
I'm sure I saw a Crow walking around. That was a pretty good costume. Whoever was in the blacked out death hood with the scythe, I don't think i saw your face at all so i still don't know who it was but it certainly looked scary enough.
The dark angel outfit was cool as well.
The most suave outfit of the night had to be the devil in the suit. That was really understated but gave such a great impact.
So yes, I had a fantastic time and cannot wait to go to another meet soon. I think I might have to wait until December before I can store up wnough baby sitting credits again though. | |

Posted: 11/26/2008 6:13:04 AM | | im sorry to say that i really didnt enjoy the horror nite , i have been to many of plenty of fish dos and i can say that i have ment some lovely people which makes them all the more fun ,but im afraid this one i found some of thw women to be rude and very ****y, it was like their was some kind of man contest goin on and if you happen to speak to someones man that was it,me and my cuson had very dirty looks from one women all nite, i can say that im not a bad person and wen i go out to pof dos ,its just to have fun and meet new people ,but i can honestly say i really didnt enjoy the horror nite one bit ,dont get me wrong their was lots of lovely people their and my friends like blue spike and mickey bear who i love and have allways shown me kindess wen i first went to pof dos ,i just hope that i dont get put of goin anymore cause i will miss lots of my friends ,but at the moment i cant say if im goin to go to another one ,dont mean to sound like im moaning but thought i would just have my say xx | |

Posted: 11/28/2008 12:20:20 AM | Put a crowd of people together in a room.. all with different personalities.. throw in some alcohol and you have yourself a party.. but you also have yourself a potential explosive situation.. but.. I have only ever heard of a VERY FEW cases where there has been trouble at a POF meet.. and a minority of cases where the people didnt enjoy themselves..
I certainly would NOT let just one person with attitude put me off going to any meets.. in fact it would make me all the more determined to attend more..
I had a minor run in with a male POF member who I felt had behaved inapproprately towards a few members at a meet.. we did the adult thing and discussed it.. and now the air is clear..
Dont let one person put you off going to meets.. Hopefully see you at FunkyFish for Xmas Party..  | |
