Arrrrrrrgggggghhhhh! I hope they didn't kill Lafayette!!!! He was funny as hell. Maybe, he is a vampire now. Does anyone think Bill fed on him or do you think it was the girl he "made?" I don't think we have seen the last of Lafayette. Or, it could have been Michelle Forbes' character. Maybe she shape shifted into something? Wild bore, maybe?
All in all, it was a decent finale. But, I thought it could be much better. I'm still think the writers where a little sloppy with Sookie's powers. They need to really "tighten" that up next season.
With that said, I'm looking forward to next summer.

however i dont think lafayette was killed(if hes dead) by bill because bill hides the bodies (sookies uncle) or make it look like a natural cause killed them (rattrays)
plus why would a vampire take lafayettes pants and shoes off let alone stick the body in andys car
another thing, jessica, the one bill turned into a vampire, i think she is the preachers daughter from fellowship of the sun
also this is what i heard from a swedish woman that i talked to , u know how eric and pam walk out of bills place and eric says something in another language and they laugh
well i guess he was speaking swedish and he was sayind "what a dumb F*u*c*K'' lol
i think its hilarious that eric couldnt handle jessica any longer and told bill " there are favors and then there are FAVORS"
one ironic thing is , it seems like two vampire series are getting alot of hype
TRUE BLOOD VS TWILIGHT
i think its funny how the actor bill real name is stephen moyer
and the author of twilight is stephenie meyer i think its ironic lol
and jason is annoying me more then ever , dumb as a brick and easily influenced
i cant wait till next summer true blood season 2, diary of a call girl season 2, and nip/tuck

Posted: 6/21/2009 9:47:16 PM | I don't want to spoil it, but if you have HBO on demand, you can see it starting tomorrow whenever you want to or it IS played again and again a few times during the week. Just check your schedule.
I'll ONLY tell you this...my opinion is (and I didn't read the series of books) that Lafayette is going to end up being a vampire and joining Eric's bar. At least that is what he is asking for because Lafayette is trying to "stay alive" so to speak.
It keep ME riveted to my seat every Sunday ...it's on from 9pm to 10pm here where I live on HBO.
Okay...Where's all the other fans? I want to hear some feedback people!!!!

Posted: 6/23/2009 7:30:27 PM | I don't think that Mary Anne is a shape shifter. Not quite sure wth she is but she sure does have some weird powers over people...making people all randy and whatnot. Wasn't it weird when she got mad over her worker disrupting Tara and her love interest? Strange character indeed.
I think that Lafayette will be turned...simply due to the fact that he is such an interesting character and it wouldnt be wise to kill him off. JMO as I haven't read any of the Sookie Stackhouse series either.
I'm excited for next week :)
I think the show should be 2 hours long every week, that 1 hour that it's on goes by way too fast. | |

true blood rocks. its the best thing since the sapranos left town. and if ya didnt know bill and sookie are together in real life. they were together long befor the show started, thats why the on screen chemistry is so great! i hope many more seasons are to come. | |

I so wish I didn't read all these threads because now I know that in the cop car, it ain't one of my favs, LaFayette. And now I find out that he's in a bit of a jam. I like the cliffhanger aspect to the end of each show. Oh, well ...
This show is addicting!
Love all of the characters, especially Jason (he's hilarious) and, as I already stated, LaFayette. I felt sad when that gay vampire was killed by that weird girlfriend of Jason's. I wanted him to "live."
But why does this show never list the song credits, including the theme song (which is fabulous)?! There have been so many great ending tunes while the credits are rolling, yet we never get to see who sang them. | |

Zebra Circle: If you got to HBO's website, they have a "store" where they list items that you can purchase. I believe one of the items is the CD for the music for the show, if I'm not mistaken. Check it out.
You might even try some of the search engines for the title song, "I Wanna Do Bad Things To You" and see if anything might come up...even Imeem might have something.
Hope that helps and sorry if some of the cliffhanger information was ruined for you by reading the thread. Sometimes, I even watch the week's episode a few times during the week BEFORE the new episode airs (Sunday nights here in Florida) so that I can see if there were any facts that I missed.
BTW, Amy was the "weird girlfriend" of Jason's. Detective Andy Belfure (spelling) is the cop whose car the dead body was in ...that lady that worked in the drug store and also was the "mock" voodoo lady that was scamming both Tara and her mother out of money. (Her name escapes me at the moment...LOL)
Anyway...glad you jumped on the bandwagon of Fans of True Blood. It truly is a riveting show, in my eyes.

Yes, I was able to look the Jace Everett theme song up on the Internet, but I'm referring to the ending songs. I don't really want to go out and get the CD, but it would be nice to know who is performing the ending-credits songs. I just don't get the mystery, as most ending credits list such things.

The books, IMO, are better than the series. Or maybe not better, but different. I like the show, but my problem with it is too many story lines going on at once, and not enough focus on Sookie, who is the main character. I got really tired of everything being about Jason last season, when he's only in the books every now and then.
I hope they bring Eric in more, I'm tired of Bill already, just like when I read the books. | |

Anna Paquin (Sookie) and Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton) are engaged!!!
They made their relationship PUBLIC that they were dating one another in real life
back in February.
Congrats to Anna and Stephen....May they be happy with one another!!!
No wonder their love scenes look so realistic....LOL
