Now as to the real issue at hand, most people do have p.o.f minimized on their screens at work and you could just hide your profile. Now if you've swapped msn details appear idle so you may or may not reply!
Maybe the issue here is you went online to meet someone but you've stumbled onto something far greater, online friendships at your fingertips! | |

If a man is on line a lot Im just not interested in that kind of man, thats me. I have frineds I go out I have interests and I dont have time to be on line all the time. It can get boring too. Luckily I don t have a problem meeting men when I go out, so this is just one option for me. I have no problem whatsoever if a man wants to chat away to people on line on dating sites but I would not be interested in this type of man and infact have dropped two men already who are on line constantly. | |

Posted: 12/6/2008 7:34:58 AM | | quite frankly yes. ive met a guy off this and we've been seeing each other about a month, although keeping it a little casual. but there are some people on POF who state on their profiles that they are Not Single/Not Looking and are seeking only friends. there are some guys who ive been chatting to and got to know and who know that i have a fella on the scene, but still chat anyway. any mail i receive asking me out, i tell them the situation and i dont reply to anyone who seems to want only one thing. i dont flirt with anyone else or lead them on, so i dont see the problem. | |

I come online for many reasons, mainly to meet and chat to people from different corners of the globe, people that I wouldnt normally have any contact with in my daily life. there are scammers etc everywhere in the world This site makes an effort to ban anyone who solicits funds, is terribly obnoxious or creates a fake profile,
If such a thing happened to you, why didn't you report the offending party, so they could be removed? | |

my personal thought about going on line when u meet someone is it can take away trust for the one u r with, more so if u met each other on line, i would think if my partner was going on line she's still looking for that person, but then i have been known to be wrong before, So how r things across the pond everyone? Posted: 12/12/2008 1:17:16 PM | | that did happen to me i was blackmailed but not on this site but the member was on another site a girl tryed to get 7.0000euro out of me but didnt work and i cought out the girl very nice she told me she was from the uk and she use to ring me if she was from the uk how come her english was bad and that i couldnt under stand her and your right there are scammer on all sites it doent matter witch on your one i dont think marcus is doing enough to block scammers from useing this site i was in touch with a girl and was asking me for 100euro to pay for her internet connection wonce the word money come in to a email its time to get rid of her/him i have got rid of a good few girls in the past becouse they were requesting money and they didnt get a penny if you act the fool with them tell them you will send money but you dont the only people you should send money to is your family like bother sister say if there living in another country thats find becouse then you will know that is genuine and that you dont have to worrie but sending money to a stranger no way thats called fraud the person can be tracked down i met a very nice russian girl about 2 years ago here name was helen tarasco she wasc 23 and we kept in touch for a year she had to get a transtator to read her emails witch i sent to helen now she is been listed for fraud and i am not sirprized i have nothing to do with her and its here birthday to day but i am not sending her anything i dont have a credit card but your right play it safe and you will be fine | |
