 Looking at a pre-meet for dinner - any suggestions as to a restaurant close to Cheers (walking distance) and the closest hotel? Besides the one in the hotel.

I have been to most of what we have in Red Deer looking for good food with good price. and the north side is bad food and bad food for high price. best place in this town is Montana's cookhouse on the south end of town...Im going to MysticalG's for the pre-meet before the big party, but would like to go out to eat before I go there. | |

Posted: 2/5/2009 3:50:44 AM | I have heard that the Ranchman's as far as food is good in the North not far from the North Hill Inn which is just a few blocks away from Cheers North .
Have not tried it but heard good testimonials.
Another food place that is (so so) towards the North is Red Deer Buffet .It has variety and price is reasonable .But again it is (so so). It is also about 5 minutes from Cheers. | |

Posted: 2/5/2009 6:36:25 AM | I enjoyed the food I had at the Ranchman's (which is actually about a block (walking distance, in fact) from Cheers.. Though sometimes it gets tough to find a table.
There's the ol' standby fast food places of course, if that's your thing.. hehe. | |
