NEEEXXTTT!!
My dad told me about the time during WWII when his ship's company was on leave in a US port. (Name of the city witheld to protect the guilty). He went in one direction with a couple of his friends and about half of the ship's company went in another direction to a mother-daughter team. (about 150 guys)
He had the last laugh when the 150 guys were lined up for sick call to get some nasty shots afterwards. It was a 24 hour liberty so Neeeexxxt must have been the operative word | |

"pee"
"What went wrong?"
Okay, "pee" I just thought was funny anyway... but I love the ambiguity of it, uncapitalized and unpunctuated, in this context. It could be an exclamation upon finding some, it could be a command, it could be a warning... | |
