Especially out here where I live, tattoos are common. I respect a hot and beautiful woman for not getting a tattoo because it seems that the majority of hot women have peer pressure to get one. So I'm actually shocked when I meet a beautiful woman that does not have a tattoo. My mom has no tattoo. But one of her sisters do. I really don't care...as long as I am attracted to her. I once made love to this beautiful italian chick that had her entire back designed in tribal like writing. I felt like an ancient warrior making love to a tribal witch...lol....but it enhanced the eroticism :) | |

I guess I'm just old, but I doubt anyone with visible tattoos will do as well in life as they should have. Not everyone can be in the NBA, NFL, MMA, a bodyguard or a boxer. Most of us have to find real jobs working for real people in a world that still looks on people with tattoos as trash. You might not be trash, might be a very good intelligent person of high morale values, but if you have tattoos, you'll look like trash to the very people who could do you some good. | |

And of course at first her friends and family were her test runs.. She is absoutely amazing, her art and tattoo's are fantastic... So I started with my kids names and now I am tatted all over.. I have a full sleeve on my right arm, I also have Cerebral Palsy and my right arm is quite atrophied and I am often stared at. So my tattoo sleeve on that arm gave a reason to stare and start a conversation not only about my tattoo's my disability too!! | |

Ridiculous. I have one small tattoo, my boyfriend doesn't have any. YOU find tattoos ugly, but that doesn't mean that all people without tattoos do. If the fact a woman put ink on her body is enough of a reason for you to reject her, then that's your prerogative, but that does not mean that all tattooed people should only date other tattooed people. | |

Get as many tattoos as you want but don't expect all men to like them, I'm done with this topic. | |

Posted: 7/26/2012 10:38:07 PM | Depending on the person, there is various reasons why a person would want a tattoo .. I am not talking just a random decision to get a tattoo. I know people who get a tattoo to cover a scar or some kind of disfiguarment on their bodies.. Like me, my arm is very atrophied as I said and I got looks and stares by mostly teens/adults because of my disability.. Since I got my whole arm done I do get stopped and asked about my tattoo's, I get compliments and its an open door to a conversation on why I chosed to tattoo my whole arm and I usually start with 'I got this because people stare at me anyway so I gave them art to look at.' Then that opens an conversation about my disability. I have met people who have said if it was for my tattoo's and wanting to know who tattoo'd me that would never approached someone like me because of the assumpation that I am 'mentally disabled'.. Which I am far from..
Too each it's own... Some like them, some don;t. Some are for good reasons, some are just because and some just don't ... I wouldn't say your skin is ugly because you don't have any, I wouldn't judge you by your cover.. We all have different covers, we all express ourselves in different ways, hair, clothes, make up, accessories and sometimes tattoo's. If that's not your thing that's great but maybe ask a person who has a tattoo 'why did you get that' you may hear a great inspiring story behind it or you might meet a really awesome person. | |

Back in the day when all my friends were getting inked up, I simply refused to do it.
Now I am the one who looks different.
I like my skin just plain thank you very much and I won't even spend two seconds thinking about what you did with your own skin. I just don't care. | |

My 8 yr old daughter asked me about this the other day, and I told if she wants one when she's older don't let anyone stop her (although i will try and dissuade her) and if a guy doesn't like it, he's not worth it in the first place. | |

They're a more personal thing for me, mine don't show until I'm sleeveless or in a tank top

They are not of cartoon characters but of symbols that mean something in my life..a visual representation of my achievements that I look at to help me thru my bad times. Some people like their art on their walls, I like mine up close and personal. I dont have them out for all to see either as my back and ankles are easily covered and have to be while I am at work. Everyone has the right to their own freedom of expression so if you don't like a woman with tattoos dont judge her just dont date her! | |
