Now these NEW slangs are being used by our younger generation (heaven help us)...words like "stalker" or "gay" and of course what was posted here...are common misnomers, I find this very dangerous.
I hear young women referring to a young man that has a simple crush on them as a 'stalker'.
In context, theysay it like this, "Yeah..there's this guy, I think he has a thing for me, I think he's my new stalker, tee hee"

I got a chance to talk to her. I asked her what the Hell was with her BF. I thought being 23 would have brought some type of Maturity to him, but I was wrong. She's 22 and in "love" or something. I told her that I think the guy is a loser and she should just cut her loses.
I also asked her does he always joke about raping women and she answered yes. She told me that he once showed his "fantasy" rape list to her. He told her a line about she all "Men" having one. But they usually don't write it down or share it with their GF's. The sad thing about it that she bought it.
She said that he love to fantasy about raping women and since he's her BF, she as a woman should do what it takes to make her man happy. I told her to wake up. The guy is a loser and perhaps more. But there's diffently something wrong with him that's for sure. | |

OP, while I agree that it is surprising that she didn't say anything I'm wondering why you, a 26 yr old man, didn't say anything either. She may have felt intimidated speaking up in front of two men. I would hope I had the courage to state then and there that the comment was both inappropriate and not in the least bit funny if I were in your friend's situation.
Well I was stunned as well. But I doubt she is intimidated by me. Since she's like my little sis. After the shock wore off, I did want give the guy a piece of my mind, but I know that she cares for him and when women are that way about a guy, the friend always takes the blame.  | |

The scary thing is that he wasn't drunk. So I would hate to see what he says and does when he actually does start drinking. If he's like that sober, he must be one hell of a drunk. | |

She's in for it....control, violent thought or worse...rape is about that....not sex, She needs to be told straight up!
I will diffently tell her what I think tonight. I will also bring along my other sister (biological) and have her talk to her. They are close and she's a real fire brand. Sweet girl, but mean when she needs to. She even scares me and keeps me in line when I get too bad. LOL. | |

I'd just like to comment that, if he'd made a comment about having sex with the other woman, that would have been inappropriate and unacceptable as well.
I have no problem with noticing and appreciating attractiveness wherever it's found: in men, women, pictures, etc. But there's should be a line drawn at being rude to the person who is attractive and the people you are with.

My sister and I went to talk to her about Her BF. Well I let my sister do all the talking. I sort of sat back and listened. Well they had started talking when he came back to the apt. He asked what was going on and I told him that my two sisters was just having some girl talk and me and him should just hang out until the finished. He agreed and the two girls went into the kitchen and continued talk.
So he and I went into the living room and sat down. It was weird sitting there and not talking for a min or so, but I finally asked him about what he said the other night. I said to him that I thought he sounded like an idiot for saying that he would rape a woman he found attractive. He told me he wanted to show me something he had made. He the went over to the dvd player and put in a homemade disc.
IT WAS A COLLECTION OF RAPE SCENES FROM MOVIES! He looked at my stunned face and said, "You Never Got Off On Seeing Jodie Foster Getting Raped On That Pinball Machine? That Was One Of The Best Rape Scenes In Movie History." I told him "NO, I Don't Like Watching A Woman Getting Raped!" He then replied that I don't know what I'm missing and that all women have had the desire to be raped. It's just in their nature to be dominated.
He then went on to go to the next scene which was from some remake on desert mutants or someting. Showed sisters get raped and killed or something. I just couldn't look anymore.
I told the guy he had some sick ideas. That's when he said that I've been brainwashed like a lot men have by the women's movement. He said something about rape has been used by women to put men under their control and that a lot of "innocent" men have gone to prison on the lies of women. I was arguing with him some more above his views when my sis said that she was ready to leave.
He asked me as I was leaving with my sister, he said to me, "with a sister as good looking as her, have you not had the thought of how it would feel to just take her." I clinched my fist and was about to turn and deck him when My sister called my name. I knew she didn't want me to hit him. So I stopped.
He then had the nerve to say, "Damn Dude, You need to lighten up. It's just a word. You have let those women get to you. That's when he went into the bed room and my friend started to apologize for him. My sister called her an idiot for being with a guy like that. I told her I thought the same and that I care about her, but for the time being, I'm not going to come around her anymore. Not when he's with her. She started to tear up and that's when me and my sister left. | |

That being said, OP, you're joke is terrible.
Offensive jokes are only offensive if they aren't very funny, IMO.

You do realise that victims or rape are real people???? They are someone's mother, sister, grandmother, daughter etc. Just try for a moment to imagine someone you love has been raped.
