"It's not you!" those three words suck...I heard them not so long ago...I did not have to read the rest of his email to know what was happening...but you know what...it is NOT you! | |

i was in new york, she in toronto at that point..i didn't want waste a long distance call...needless to say, she went nuts and was engaged a few years later to another crazy...i keep turnnig them bad...this was in high school btw, but i might be tempted to do it again- if i ever take on a g/f | |

Posted: 7/1/2005 9:21:02 AM | #i got dumped by my ex not so long ago...well let me first explain the situation, we were seeing each other for 5months, i guess that doesnt sound too long, but that fact was, we were getting on like a house on fire...and he never gave me any reason to think otherwise...
we hadnt seen each other for 4 days, that was fairly normal as we liked to do things apart so when we did get together...we enjoyed and valued each others company. like most other couples, we'd regularly send each other cheeky kinky texts,emails, or voicemails etc, (keep the passion alive and all that!) so this particular evening we were planning on getting together and having a very fun and 'eventful' evening...so i sent him a text around 2hours before he was due to arrive,i'd spent ages planning dinner, what to wear, etc etc.
i basically wrote something quite naughty, about what i had planned for dessert...(use your imagination) and 5 mins later my fone beeped. thinking it was an equally naughty text i felt my heart do that weird thing it does wen you are in love, i grabbed my mobile only to read...
'kel, i have to be honest with you, im still in love with my ex,although i havent told her yet.im a mess and no good to man or beast.sorry :-( xxxx '
so being as brave as possible, and wanting so bad to be the stronger person, i wrote back...'oh well, never mind, good luck and hope she takes you back...cuz i wont!' | |

Posted: 9/2/2005 12:31:39 PM | after 6 months of dating....4 days after my birthday (which i couldnt believe she got me a present) then dumped me? whats that???....6 months...never a fight..rarely even a disagreement....just 5 days before..she had told me...that she was happy and was all good..went to her house and made her soup 3 days before cuz she was so sick..then whammo

I overlooked it, cause i liked the guy and just said to the guy, that it was a good thing, that i had made a big pan of lasagna.. After dinner, he said that he had to go to the office and would only be an hour and would be right back after that..I waited and waited, but he never showed up, or answered my page..The next day i got an e-mail from him and by the way, he lived two streets over from me and we had met at another dating site..The e-mail said that he didn't want to see me anymore..My reply to him was, that it was ok, cause i wanted a man, not a coward.. Anyway, that's my little story.. | |

Posted: 9/5/2005 2:28:48 PM | | yeah I was dumped via email....was dating him for a year....he asked me to marry him...came down for the weekend and was very sweet and kind to me and my kids...then sent me an email attaching the way I raise my kids and just being very mean...guess it was his way to not talk as he had found someone else...I think personally he should have had the balls to tell me to my face...cowards are so unattractive guys | |

Kinda sucks too. It usaly eays something like I'm a great guy and will find a nice lady one day, but it's her not me that isn't ready or whatever, ahhhh ok? | |

Posted: 8/31/2006 11:02:36 AM | Oh I still remember the anger when I read this e-mail. I actually didn't even finish reading it and picked up my phone and called the guy. His roommate answers and says he isn't home...I said "yes he is as he just e-mailed me so put him on the ***** phone now"
The roommate just yells "Phone" and so this guy answers and says hi. I said "Hi" and you could just feel the shock he had at that moment. Then I said "Are you actually ***** serious? Do you have no balls? Because I thought I saw some but I must have been wrong." And then went on for another 5 minutes. He said some things but I was so mad. I was in tears crying afterwards and probably the last few seconds of the phone call cause it hurt. But wow.....I even get angry thinking about it right now. | |
