| Has anyone ever been dumped via email? Posted: 3/13/2007 8:28:38 AM | Yup! Twice, by email, same woman. (It's not you, it's me. I can't give you the love you deserve. "")
Whatever!
I feel sorry for her 4 children, they and I were attached as well.
No fun...
God Bless Scott | |

| Has anyone ever been dumped via email? Posted: 3/13/2007 10:11:54 AM | | well, I haven't been dumped by email, but I Was told over the phone that my husband wanted a divorce! He went to Alberta to get a job and the plan was supposed to be that he get situated in the job, find a place for us and the kids to live, then he would send for us. Instead, I got a call a month after he had been out there, and he didn't even really tell me, I had to say it for him! He got all quiet and I asked him what was wrong, he said he needed a smoke (he had quit smoking 5 years ago) so I said oh, you're smoking again, thinking that was what he was so afraid to tell me. So he was still all quiet, and I asked him why he was smoking again, and he said stress. SO of course, I say what stress? And he goes all quiet again, after 3 times of telling him to just spit it out and he doesn't say anything, I say what, are you leaving me? And he says yes. Now that is cowardly and disrespectful, after 4 years of marriage and two small children. | |

Posted: 3/17/2007 2:28:58 AM | Well in her own right , she is a wonderful person, but as with anyone has problems, we have been together 4 years, she's dumped my twice via e-mail during that time for about 2 weeks each dumping ....and yes the 3rd and last time.....she' dumped me by e-mail again, she has a hard time dealing with any emotion I think, she would freak out as I say, when things got to serious. Bless her heart. and she's 44?, I wish her well. It was a great 4 years. But I'm to old to play games.

| Has anyone ever been dumped via email? Posted: 5/11/2007 7:42:02 PM | yeah it sucks
but it depends on how it starts
like if we started dating on email, then ok we break up in email
but if we started dating in person, then break up in person!

| Has anyone ever been dumped via email? Posted: 5/12/2007 6:21:50 AM | "Dear Ex-lover,
I am typing you this letter to inform you that starting this moment, I have fallen in love with a donkey from the movie Shrek. He makes me laugh more than you do and he even carries me to places without complaining that his back hurts. Therefore, his romanticism and efforts to completely satisfy me has made me decide to try beastialit.
Sincerely, Princess Fiona"

| Has anyone ever been dumped via email? Posted: 5/12/2007 6:42:48 AM | | Twice, as far that I can remember. Not a prob for me (to be on the receivin end). An email saves time and drama. But I would not do that to a woman but hey that's me... | |

| Has anyone ever been dumped via email? Posted: 5/12/2007 6:55:29 AM | Kinda like that Sex in the City episode of getting dumped with a post-it left on the computer after a night of sex.
Most men can't stand the confrontation so they avoid it. At least be glad you got something saying that they wanted to completely end things. I just get the disappearing act.
A time or two they have come back sliding in hoping to have the time of silence forgotten and just pick up where things left off.

| Has anyone ever been dumped via email? Posted: 5/15/2007 1:53:58 AM | | Many times. I think whether it was a serious deal or not, the other person doesnt deserve to hear it thru an email. Have the guts to say it face to face. I'm not talking bout couples that have only dated once or twice but those that r relatively exclusive. | |

I was engaged to the gentleman and got a "Dear Tamra, I have found my soulmate and it is not you" email ....... Luckily i was able to make some really nice curtains from the half finished wedding dress ......
Ive gotten the reverse... I was with one my my exs for 2 years or so, when I got the "Im sorry, but my last name isnt xxxxx anymore.." email.
It's been over for a long time, and I only have one complaint right now. I know the guy is treating her like shit (up till we stopped contact, she was telling me how he was hitting on at least 6 women online at a given time WHILE MARRIED TO HER), and even after doing that to me, she doesn't deserve that. Im not sure I care if I ever see her again, but I would like to see a happy note before I disappear.
Ah well, enough of my rant. Im sorry for what both of you faced, and looking forward to what I face. Things for me are looking bright right now.

| Has anyone ever been dumped via email? Posted: 8/28/2007 3:27:35 AM | I'd prefer email If It wasnt a really emotionally Involved relationship ( ie a few dates, few weeks , couple of months but clearly about to happen ect). I find It easier then going through the face to face talk about It and them seeing your upset, uncomfortable ect.
Just cutting contact without even taking the time to write a emails what I find toadacus In relationships ( not net chatting ).
