Loving the snow, playing board games, raunchy jokes - fart ones kill me - cotton candy, Mister Misty from Dairy Queen - I guess its like the frozen slush from the convenience stores, banana popsicles. Was an only child so kind of lonely and I think that is why I treat my nephews and friends kids like brothers and sisters, pick on them like crazy - with love of course. Since they are in their 20's, a little dirty joke, teasing is fun. They are mostly boys too so anything kind of girly from the 43 year old aunt totally freaks them out especially if it even slighty refers to my sexuality - the little kid comes out in me when I see they get embarassed and I just keep at them. Oh, when I catch them kissing their girly friends I make sucking noises! I'm like the irritating little sister. I've known them since they were about 7 years old and have many things to "remind" them of. Hot cocoa brings out the kid in me and makes me go for the blanket and pillows to snuggle. | |

Cartoons, can't get enough laughs in any one day.
I still sneak up on people and scare the crap out of them, just can't help myself.
No matter how ritzy the hotel I have to jump on the bed.

I still like board games, like Mouse Trap and Candyland.
I still like candy "rings" and candy "cigarettes".
I still like to blow bubbles.
I still like having a small box to keep my "Secret, Secret Squirrel" stuff in.
I still like cartoons.
I still like to daydream.
I still like to "doodle" in a notebook.
I still like the giant kids art supply cases that you can buy for $19.99.
I'm still fascinated by erasers, magnets, and leggos.
I still think bugs are cool.
I still enjoy making weird faces in the mirror when I'm by myself.
I still bite my nails.
I still like pajama bottoms instead of a nightgown to bed.
I still like playgrounds and swing sets.

Legos and Lincoln Logs, old game systems (8-bit or less), irritating my older sister (granted, not much of a challenge as she can go from tranquil to p***** in less than a second, but it is still entertaining... Sort of watching a volcano in awe before you realize that you are at the base... then you try to run like hell), sleeping in until mid-morning or later, waking up early to decent Saturday morning cartoons (not most of the crud that is currently playing... Don't miss it enough to regret giving up TV), making a mess and cleaning it up when I'm darn well ready... Teasing my pets (I had smart pets, and they usually got revenge on me), Ummm... Wildlife "fishing" (Once had a group of 100+ chimpmunks and a large popcorn ball attached to a string... Didn't need to do any work, as they fought amongst themselves), phasing out during a conversation that doesn't interest me, as well as the all-too-common "selective hearing" kids have...
And that's about it.

Posted: 1/24/2009 6:35:13 PM | Bike Riding ~ used to hold our breath and pedal as fast as we could past the dairy farm. And if you had to stand up to finish pedaling up the hill that came after the dairy farm, you were the wimp for the day. Hey, I had a pretty cool turquoise banana seat bike.
Tying knots in my hair ~ it's a special talent~ if I'm reading a good book, I can look like I stuck my finger in a socket by the time I'm finished.
Coloring ~ still something calming about that.
Kick ball ~ soccer or otherwise ~ That is still a good stress reliever! | |

Eat all the crust off my sandwich first then finish it eating in a circle
Apply ketchup to my frenchfries starting from the outer edge and in a circle i work my way all around to the middle
For dinner, ive always eaten 1 food item at a time, then turn my plate to the next item. Keep turning my plate in a circle until the last item is done (wtf is it with me and circles?? lol just realized that!)
Still love to watch Wizard of Oz, Rudolph, and Frosty the Snowman and am very disappointed if i missed it! lol
Wayyyyyy too many others that range anywhere from playing to how i dress my self (socks first, starting with left foot lol) | |

Anyways I still like to consider myself a child at 20 but here are mine
I watch cartoons everyday
I have a big pink my litlte pony style tattoo on my arm
I collect my little ponys & barbies
I hug my baby blanket still at night every night
I still always have to eat all of one thing on my plate then the next , then the next , never mish mashed
I call my mom when im sick so she can baby talk to me and make me feel better
I still baby talk to dogs , even if i see them randomly on the street (evne other animals to)
Still cry everytime theres a animal shelter commerical on
Love playing with silly puddy and play dough
I LOVE everything to do with Halloween
I still eat Zoodles
I love Disney Movies
The only diffrence is i have to pay bills , buy my own grocerys and make sure i wipe my own ass . oh and i dont think boys have cooties anymore. | |

I have to eat my veggies first so I can really enjoy my meat (wasn't allowed to leave the table till veggies was gone). I had a sick blanket(for 18 years) till my ex used it to bury our dog in, said it was tattered, WTF? Tickle my face with my hair when I'm reading. Hiking in the woods with my dog. making footprints in fresh snow. Going barefoot in the grass in the spring before the ground warms up. Mushroom hunting in the spring is like an extra hard Easter egg hunt lol!!! Making a day at the amusement park is necessary once a year! | |

I still go trick ot treating. I love getting dressed up in costume. I don't even like candy that much. | |

Though I know longer have my favorite one from when I was young, I do have approximately 40 0f them in my collection...everything from tea cup sized to two that are big enough to sit in a dining room chair. Hey, I just thought of something. Maybe that explains my preference for a cuddly man!!

2. Jokes with shock value. I often find grossing others out to be quite entertaining for me personally and others often like it as well.
3. Cranking up the stereo and singing along.
4. 'Playing' in the dirt or with fire.
5. Cowgirls. When I was a kid Dale Evans was THE quintessential woman. She could do it all yet was feminine too. Today my bedroom is decorated with western art and paraphernalia including Wild West Show posters featuring female performers like Annie Oakley.
6. Grilled cheese sandwiches topped with grape jelly. Like another poster, I eat my sandwiches crust first and then in a circle. Oh! And I eat my pizza crust first ("backwards" according to some). | |

-Licking my bowl/plate after something really yummy like mashed potatoes w/gravy, or spaghetti w/really good sauce
-When I drink coke, I put my finger on top of the straw, pull it out of the glass w/coke in it, then let it go in my mouth. I do it constantly and haven't figured out why my kids haven't copied me. LOL
-Still sleep curled around a stuffed animal or a pillow
-Still want my mom to hold me when I'm upset/sad or sick (too bad she's 1000 miles away)
-I don't step on cracks in sidewalks either
-I stack books by size, or arrange things by color
-Still drown mashed potatoes in gravy, and could still skip eating the meat that made the gravy. LOL
-Still eat Spaghetti O's w/meatballs or franks.
-Still hate wearing shoes. I go around work in socks.
-Still sit "indian style" or w/my feet propped up (and yes, I'm at work right now, in socks and indian style at my desk, lol)
-Still love coloring in a coloring book esp w/a big brand new box of crayons or markers
-Still eat sugary cereal, cocoa puffs is my fav
-Still randomly sing all the kid songs from my childhood, like "On top of spaghetti" or the songs from my Mickey Mouse Club record "Today is Tuesday, you know what that means? We're gonna have a special, special guest, so get out the broom, sweep the place clean, and dust off the mat so the welcome can be seen...And give us a hip hooray Hip! Hooray! Wiggle your ears, like the 3 muskateers, we're gonna presen tour guest today, 'cause tuesday is guest star day...etc". LOL
-Still go incredibly ga-ga over kittens and puppies | |
