Is being sexy/sensual a subconsious act?

Why is it being sexy/sensual is a female thing. Women like to see a sexy guy too. Not many out there, but I'm sure if we all look hard enough one of us might come up with one.

I've been accused of trying to look sexy when I wasn't. I did a thread awhile back about should we try to de-sexy-fy ourselves. There have been times when I've been flirted with by very young men, when I was wearing shorts/tank tops, jeans, etc. Was a little embarrassing! That's how I usually dress. Apparently it's a sexy look for me.
It's not one I try for, just my style of dressing.

I'm sure that if I dressed in old lady clothes, they wouldn't find me sexy looking. So, I'm not one of those who can look sexy in anything. However, I never try to look sexy. But apparently with my dressing style, that's the end result. I don't do the belly showing or extreme cleavage. Or anything inappropriate. So, for me it is not subconscious, or deliberate. Just my style on my body, which I try to keep in great shape. For me and my health, not to attract men.
That's an added bonus.

I feel you can be sexy in your manner, appearance, voice, etc.

But sensuality comes from the inside....

Grime smeared across his face, his chest is sleek with sweat while he is explaining how he doesnt need a new part, he can just fix this one and save four dollars, lol.
...Smokin' hot.

Most definitely, absolutely subconsciously un-consciously sexy.

The very same man will approach me while he's getting cleaned up and say "Smell me. I smell damn sexy." If he's in a really good mood, I might get a post-shower lap dance.
...Cute, but not sexy.

Maeflowers - you would have had someone to wear them for in the UK!

Messages 19,20,36,45 are all spot on really - dress to look and feel sexy, dress for comfort and your own imgage. Being sensual is definatley from within, you either have it or you don't. Some think they have the sensual attribute, but its pure lust in disguise - being sensual is awesome!

Sexy/sensuous is IMO the way you deliver yourself...the way you stand, walk, look, speak, if you are confident I think most men will find that extremely sexy...

And, people seem to enjoy being around a person that is confident in themselves & who they are.

I would tend to think that it is a subconsious act. You ooze sexiness and sensuality without even realising it when being in your element .

Action vs reaction?

Unless you live underneath a rock...Its both

Everthing we do to enhance ourselves, as well as our personal appearance, has both a consious and subconsious aspect. We all want to pleasing to ourselves and to others.

Now the amount of enhancement may be proportional to ones views of our sensuality/ sexiness.
