Clothes maketh the man/woman.............

Angel Delight.

I love to see a man in a pink shirt i think it shows he's comfortable with his sexuality and is a real man

Ive never understood this saying as it makes no sense to me whatsoever. If you like pink or like to see a man wearing a pink shirt then that's fine and your perogative. Everybody has their own likes / dislikes. But how does it show your comfortable with your sexuality and prove your a 'real man ' ?

Clothes don't maketh the man , but they do represent you to a certain degree and say something about you. That's a fact of life whether its right or wrong. You have to be dressed appropriately for the occasion / situation. You wouldn't attend a funeral wearing white trousers and an orange shirt. It would be highly inappropriate and show a lack of respect and understanding. The same way you wouldn't show up for a job interview at a bank in a sweaty t-shirt. If you did then you wouldn't get the job , regardless of whether you were the best candidate or not. So they are important.

Personally I like classic clothes that are well made / cut and are stylish today and will be in 10 years time. The most elegant women from bygone era's, like your Jackie Kennedys , Audrey Hepburns , Grace Kellys etc... would look as fashionable , elegant today wearing the same clothes as they did in the 50's. I think its cool when people have a bit of pride in their appearance . I wouldn't dream of going out in a pair of filthy , horrible shoes and a shirt covered in curry stains . People do though , I see it all the time.

JCL to answer you , it simply goes back to when I'm going out with a man, and I mention that I like to see a man in a pink shirt, they always reply only gay guys wear pink shirts.........and they wouldn't be seen dead looking like a gay guy.......So any man that wears a pink shirt to me is comfortable with his sexuality.........

Do you wear Pink Johnny ?

No I don't wear pink D....

Its nothing to do with looking gay or being manly though. I just don't particularly like the colour. I wouldn't normally wear bright yellows, greens, oranges etc.. either to be honest. I'd look like an opal fruit. I'd rather just wear my 501's and a white Levis T-shirt or plain white cotton shirt . It probably sounds bland and dull but I'd like to think I always look stylish and smart in my own way. As long as I'm clean and feel good then I'm happy . I don't conform or follow anything . If I like it then I'll wear it. My ex wife used to buy me clothes at first but I hated it. I'm a bit of a funny bugger in that respect .
She probably thought I was an ungrateful so & so & she may well have been right. But that's just the way I am .
