When my ex and I split up, I was making up for lost time I guess and felt that I needed to control my habits better. (No, i didn't sleep around) I had a deal with myself to abstain from sex for 60 days....I don't recall if I was allowing "self-pleasure" or not, but I lasted until day 53 or so. And it wasn't even worth it!! LOL. It's good to clear your head, but I have to tell you, towards the end...it was getting tougher and tougher to not look at every man and wonder how quick we could get naked  | |

He never asked me, just told me that night that we werent having sex for 100 days. I wasnt that thrilled but I supported him and then about day 40 he decided it wasnt fair to me and we needed to have sex that night and then the next day he was like, that was wrong and he then said he was starting over again on going 100 days...so basically it was like once in 140 days...
In the end it was just motions he was going thru, he didnt really want to get well and I felt my chain had gotten jerked once to often when I caught him shortly after all of this still doing the things he had done before to feed his addiction. I think you have to do what makes you happy ...and I cant see any reason doing without would make anyone happy. | |

You can of course still wank and maintain your abstinence..
IN fact for prostate health its recommended to wank regularly anyways..
30 days is not a long time to go without sex unless you're getting it on the regular..
If you think you are going to stray from you're commitment, try the
cb3000 and have someone hold the keys so you dont get tempted...
You may loose your sanity but will keep your commitment in check

Obviously if it was only sex with a partner that i mean this would be pretty easy, some of my dry spells would put me in the record books if 30 days was considered a lot.
It includes doing it my self, I really have no good reason for doing this other then i got a (stupid probably) idea in my head and thought i can do that and now i want to see if i can it's really that simple. | |

ok it's becoming pretty obvious that my initial post and topic is a bit misleading it does include masturbation just clear that up i worded it wrong cause i didn't know the definition of abstinence i guess.

Such a pointless exercise...
