But I don't try to negotiate that part on a first date. I don't even try for a kiss on the first date (but am thrilled if she does).
Please don't take this as an affront on you personally, but what kind of men are you going out with? Don't most guys who ARE looking for more than sex behave like gentlemen? And I thought southern guys were supposed to be well-mannered.
Screen a bit more closely before agreeing to meet - OR make a clear start and end to that first meet.
"I have a dinner meeting w/Merck Medco people at 8:00, but I'd love to meet. Can you be at Caribou Coffee at 7:15?"
Then leave at 7:45. Don't let him walk you to your car.
Then figure out if the guy is a decent fellow you'd like to meet for a proper date.
I don't know what your expectations are either, but by third date, expect to be kissed, or don't go on it. | |

Be more assertive in your profile by saying what you WANT. I've also found that sarcasm gets rid of them easily. Since not everyone has the same sense of humour, the sarcasm I offer up might offend some people and that was just fine by me!
The more assertive and no BS my profile was, the less BS emails I received.

I had looked at her profile and pictures, although she had obviously edited the text since this thread began. I had to go back and look at the picture. I really hadn't noticed the strap. and it still didn't seem sexy, I really had no reaction to it, I take in the whole person. I think all of her pictures are just fine nothing explicit. Im not too sure about the current text, ti leaves me flat, just nothing to catch my interest. But I guess maybe that's what is needed for a while. I'm sorry that some of the men are not able to control themselves and show a lady respect reguardless of what they are thinking. Rest assured ALL men arn't that way.
