| | Arizona Cardinals Page 3 of 3 (1, 2, 3) | Wonder if belicheat and shady brady had money on the Steelers? If they did, I think they know who to pay off! I looked at that play over and over and it looked like a good catch to me. Only thing was, it was the only angle they recorded.
If it can happen in the NBA why not the NFL

| Arizona Cardinals Posted: 2/5/2009 12:22:54 AM | The Cards do deserve a lot of credit for thier run to the Super Bowl this year. But what does thier future hold-Will Warner come back? If Warner doesn''t come back , will Leinart be able to keep pace? To me they had a greatly timed run but at the end of the day they were a 9-7 team from a very poor division at that. I think it would be hard for them to get back to Super Bowl. Hey but who expected them to be there this year. | |

I hear ya. But the fact remains...they were the NFC Champions. Warner will come back and, if Arizona builds up their defense a little more, they will be in the playoffs next year again. Only, this time they won't be overlooked like they were this year.

| Arizona Cardinals Posted: 2/5/2009 7:28:10 PM | The Dolphines are going to suck next year and miss the playoffs. It's the Superbowl curse. Every NFL Team that has hosted a Superbowl in their city the same year has failed to make the playoffs.
I think if AZ can hold their team together they will have one more run with warner at the helm.

| Arizona Cardinals 2009 season Posted: 6/17/2009 9:10:26 PM | The Cards had an awesome playoff run last year to the Superbowl but looking forward to 2009 they may have a hard time being a contender in the playoffs.
They are in the worst division in football
Last season standings NFC West
Cardinals 9-7 49'ers 7-9 Seahawks 4-12 Rams 2-12
If we look at the 49'ers if they had just two more divisional wins they possibly could have taken the division.San Fran under coach Singletary is getting better and it is not hard to belive they will be .500 or above.
The Seahawks had a collapse last year and were uncharacteristically poor at 4-12,however given a healthy QB in Hassleback they will easily win more games in '09.
The Rams were 2-12 they can only get better.....I don't know how much better, but the odds are they can win more than two games.
All it takes is a few more divisional wins by the 49'ers,'Hawks,and Rams, and a tougher schedule for the Cards and boom.......they don't make the playoffs.

| Arizona Cardinals Posted: 12/14/2010 7:21:16 AM | Feeeeeeee leeee nothing more than feeeeeee leeee! Jay Feely had on heck of a game on Sunday! A career day, to be sure. Scoring 25 of the 43 points the Cards had in that game. Conversely, Orton will have nightmares about that game! | |
