Posted: 6/14/2009 1:03:32 PM | I was with a guy several years ago. For some reason we started talking numbers after we'd slept together and mine was about 6 or 7 and he was I believe around 30 to 40. I can't tell you how shocked I was. I wish we hadn't had the conversation . I wished at the time we hadn't slept together. I was truly scared he had an STD or something . I didn't get anything from him, but finding out he'd had a lot of one night stands and women he found kind of slutty was a real turnoff.
If you really love someone, I feel like number shouldn't matter. But let me tell you, if I was in love with someone and found out he'd been with say, 50 or 100 or more women, I think I would suddenly re-think things.
It's not just the STD thing, even if he was fine, I would worry about how soon he'd be jumping on the bandwagon for number 101 or whatever the next number was.
In my opinion, and this is just my opinion, i fyou can't keep it in your pants, male or female, I think it looks pretty bad unless you've made a conscious decision over time to end that behavior and try to be more selective. If you can't stop yourself from sleeping with every Tom,**** or Harriet you run across, I don't think for one second I could continue that relationship. | |

The only problem with promiscuous people that I foresee is; the fact that they might get tired of the same sex and go cheat. That is the reason why they have had so many partners, right!?! They like to try new things.

One thing is sure, there is something wrong with the girl. She is not fit psychologically.( I would have said same for a guy for similar numbers). People are sleeping around so indiscriminately that this number seems not big to many. Even if the guy marries her, he will NOT be able to forget it and it will bother him throughtout his married life, which will NOT last long. She cannot be special for him. I have no sympathy for her. Life is a mix of happiness and pain. Her good time is over. as she gets older, her bad time is going to start. | |

I agree with that. I know a lot of men who have not slept with many women. Men dont like to admit it but they mostly dont get sex as often as they try to make people think they do so they exagerate. Many women me too included have had more men than the men have women. But women will often purposely forget bad ones and dont like to count them. We know too many lovers is not a good thing in mens eyes so we say less than is true.
She cannot be special for him. After a lot of partners whether you are man or woman you cannot feel intimate with someone. After enough people sex is just not special no more. It is just something you do with this person that you did with that person and the person before and how can it be special if there were so many people before that you can barely remember them. | |
