But abstinance until then is not the reality of being a teen and even a pre-teen in North American society -- and it hasn't been since the invention of the birth control pill and the advent of the sexual revolution.
By and large, once the deed is done girls go into a downward spiral of loss of self-esteem and guys - just like the op's friend - pass the word on from one to the next so that each takes a turn at playing her in ever more creative ways.
Yet hope springs eternal in the girl's mind that since it's allegedly what's expected in order to make them popular or loved that indeed one day Prince Charming is going to walk through their door and mean it when he says that he loves her.
If I had a nickel for every woman whose adult life is a continuation of this process regardless of whether they were able to marry at some point in between I'd be as rich as Bill Gates.
Why don't they stop it? They either don't know how or they're so broken down by it all they don't see what difference it would make. | |

however, the main reason a woman is promiscuous is usually due to sexual abuse or molestation when they are young by a family member... I dont have all the ins and outs, but has a lot to do with the confusion of intimacy-love-phsycial. | |

2) What's their turnover in relationships?
3) Do they even have relationships (whatever number they come up with...add 50)?
4) Looking for: Friends, Activity Partner, Hang Out....and the obvious Intimate Encounter (add 20)
5) 35 years old plus (add 5 per year that they're single)
6) When you ask them and they can't remember (add around 800 in total)
7) Cradle snatchers (1 per year....just keeping appearances to their circle of friends that they can still pull some 22 year old numbnut....and they are numbnuts at that age no matter how clever.... yep that is really an accomplishment)

I recently found out why when a previous encounter I had came up. I was in a bar with my boyfreind and he met two men I had had a 3some with. It all came out when one of them told my boyfriend. It was a disaster that might have been averted if I had told him first.
