Posted: 1/15/2009 5:16:03 PM | I'm an expert at warm-up ideas... if my body gets too cold I start shivering uncontrollably and I'm in physical pain for days so warm fleece jammies with a big knitted sweater, wearing a touque in the house, knitted wool-slipper-socks, a heating pad tucked into my big down sleeping-bag and lots of hot drinks are essential... oh yeah... and the temp in my house is usually set at 82 from Oct to April *LOL* When all that fails and I get chills I resort to cuddling with the kids (both of them better than hot-water-bottles), hot showers and warmed up towels. I could SO live comfortably in the tropics...
and hey Global warming sounds good to me... Hawaii and the Bahamas have had it good for centuries... when's it our turn?

Stop thinking dirty. I was changing the oil in my car and it went all over my hand as it always does but at least it was nice and warm  . | |

Posted: 1/16/2009 4:24:30 PM | Well...tonight I had a warm shower after I put dinner in the oven, then got into my favourite fuzzy shirt and flannel pj bottoms. Right now I'm sipping on a glass of Yellow Tail Shiraz, my favourite wine.
Sometimes I will change into my exercise clothes when I get home and do some dancercise. Gets my heart rate up and makes me feel real good.....warm and energized.
My former handle was Cuddlybuddy...changed it because too many seemingly mature guys wanted to know just how cuddly I was..... Guess I was out of the dating loop for so long that I didn't realize there was a negative connotation to the word "Cuddly!"
Dante et al do have a point though. Cuddling with someone special on a night like tonight is definitely a good thing!!!! | |
