Personally I found that not being in a bad relationship for an extended time gives one some new insights and perspectives into what motivates people to do what they do.
(More are bad than aren't, or there wouldn't be so many divorced and single, or cheating people out there.)
Sex is a lot freer today than it ever was in the 60's and 70's and for many - even more meaningless. I know a number of women for whom more than a couple of months without sex is abnormal and they'll grab at any throbbing candidate who happens to be handy until "something better" comes along. I wouldn't touch them with someone else's 20-foot pole!
There's a lot of bad compromising going on because the media says it's normal. | |

I'm a woman, we tend to have a different set of values on this subject.
Are women brought up with different parents? This whole thing is a big myth. There are just as many women screwing around as there are men. Its just men do not get into the whole talk about it thing.
Reasons 1 -4, did you just make these up or is there a real basic for these concepts. I think reason number 2 is the only valid one out of the bunch and most men do not expect a happy ending at the end of a date. If that is what you are running into maybe you need to look at the values you use in choosing a date.
But to the main point, there is nothing wrong with being a man and having control of your sexuality. As for women, they will make stuff up as they go alone (see above). | |

I would not consider it a red/yellow flag that a single person (even a man! - gasp) goes without sex for an extended period. Dating is about figuring out how much of myself I want to share with the other person. I hope he's doing the same evaluation.
I do consider it a red flag when I hear he went without sex for an extended period while married. Physical intimacy, including sex, is required for a healthy marriage. So I want to know why he went so long without. Some reasons I can understand/agree with (spouse was ill), some I can't.
While it's possible that with a lot of inner work and with a different person, that tiger could change his stripes, I'm not going to totally ignore the fact that he was able to forego something so central to a healthy marriage. | |

You could go to a professional (prostitute) and have sexual experience; however, that would still mean you have had no emotional intimacy with a woman. My suggestion would be to talk to a therapist. You probably just need to work on confidence and feeling comfortable with women. | |
