my problem with north american women is that they became some kind of hybrids, more man than woman.
and yes they are still woman, this cant be changed.
and there are so many great things about being a sophisticated, intelligent, delicate woman that i dont get why beeing "****y" is so appealing to north am girls. lack of sophistication? no history? not much culture? too much tv? submissivness of north american guys?
why do not preserve the attributtes of your sex?
this is what happens in europe.
women are sophisticated, educated, non submissive, BUT STILL MANAGE TO BE FEMININE.
they wear dresses!!! not sweat pants with tastless JUICY printed on their assses. yak. | |

there isnt a 'green card' system here in aussie, and while every 'single' guy who looks on line for a partner may be inundated with replies from Asia, and Russia ect, sure some of these are clear hoaxes, like for me, im . 47 and a girl in her early 20s replies to me.... thats gotta be a con.
however, saying all women from other countries are just going to use you for a green card \ visa is not true. im sure some do want a true partner. sure they also want a way out of (XYZ) country but wouldnt you?
if they can find someone who will love them, be honest and true, and appreciate the love and devotion they will return to you, they may well be better that a western bread woman who is one that has lost family values and does not care for the family unit | |

That would be offensive to Americans and to me.
Firstly: The Americans that I know are not arrogant people. They are typical people with joys and fears, just like the rest of us. I don't live in the United States, so it would be "arrogant" and presumptuous of me to make any sweeping comments about them.
Secondly: I am not American.
I didn't get annoyed by the generalization because, as several people already said,
we are all foreigners. Yes... even you....
That is an obvious fact, so it's really not something worth getting annoyed about.
I don't think anyone is implying that Canada and the US are the center of the universe.
I certainly don't think they are.
And if you have read my earlier comments, you know that I am from another country,
just like you. Big deal. I'm not very different from most people on here.
(And how's this for excitement.. Though my family is from South American, I am European background too. Just like you. Wow. Imagine that.)
Yes, certainly I have been raised somewhat differently than my friends here in Canada,
but I live in Canada now, and have for most of my life.
I am not in my home country.
I have to accept the good and bad of Canadian society, including the dating/social life. (Which, I can tell you, is very different from Brazil! That's life.
Are the men here different? Yes, sure. Silly question.
Will it make me go running back to Brazil? No, of course not.)
The issue to me is whether a person is able to adapt to their environment,
or if they are always going to blame their environment for having bad luck or a terrible life.
Be pro-active. Use some of this strong energy and see if you can meet an interesting Canadian woman on POF. I dare you to try. *smile*

"arrogant in american way" to me is considering that america is in the centre of the universe. the best cars are american, the biggest bulidings are american so on and so on.
its seems a bit absurd but i have met lots of educated people in canada who didnt have any clue about life that goes on in the other parts of the world! i am not talking indonesia
or arctics but europe!!! look at any american news on tv.
first 10 minutes on what happened in states, 5 minutes middle east, israel.. and.. and thats it.

Newsflash...if we want to watch world news, there are a multitude of channels that carry nothing but world news.
I know, I know...big mouth American woman. I know how you treat your women in Europe, I worked in a global company for years and know how they are treated in the workplace for sure. Granted it's better than some other countries, but European women don't have near the clout we have here in America. Does that threaten you? It sounds like it. Do I have to flaunt it? As for the news...how about pulling your head out of your butt and watching some American news before you make stupid comments like that? lol...we have no news about the middle east huh? I see it everyday and everynight on the local news, you know...that 5 minute part where we actually see what's going on in the rest of the world and then...oh my, there is a whole hour of world news that follows, every night on the major stations. Oh, I guess they do talk about America a lot on those programs huh? How dare us Americans broadcast news about America on American stations. How arrogant is that?!!!! You know there are 50 states here right? Last time I checked, we were part of the world. How about the other world news programs that are broadcast 24/7. Maybe you need to learn how to change the channel?
I'm not ****y...I just have the right to express my feelings. If you happen to bring the ****iness out in me, like you do, yeah, I'm proud of the fact that I can stand up to you and not take your crap. Obviously you want a "yes" woman. So go back to Europe if that's where you find women like that.
P.S. Some of the most beautiful women I've seen on this site are Canadian and I can't help but feeling that you are somehow threatened by American and Canadian women.

I still like her and think she's the greatest. But after swindling me, she did get a passport, went abroad and got married within a short time, leaving me still reeling.
