Visual motivation is a very good idea find a picture, outfit and then try and work towards it.

| How do you stay motivated Posted: 7/8/2009 5:02:04 PM | | In the long term i've found starting out was the hardest. after you've got urself down there 2 or 3 times per week for 3 or 4 weeks, you start missing it when you don't go for more than 3 or 4 days. :) | |

| How do you stay motivated Posted: 7/8/2009 5:17:15 PM | I hear you girlfriend. I work out alone most of the time and after 3 to 6 months of consistency, I become restless and bored. Sometimes I think I just crave working out with other people, but most of the people at my gym are men, so that is not the ideal situation. I don't want to lift that heavy a weight even if I could.
But my nutrition coach and several of the gym owners have told me to change it up. Make it different. Do something you've never done before and excite yourself to rise above this plateau.
My encouragement is with you.

If it's becoming routine, maybe get a bike and go in a different direction every day-! There's always something new to see, some new wind and weather conditions to feel.
