A small tat in a discreet spot (or even a not so discreet spot) is an entirely different animal from the overly large and in your face "look at me, I'm an individualist who doesn't care what you think of me but be sure you look" tat's. | |

Posted: 1/20/2009 11:37:28 AM | At some point in the past a woman's tattoo probably indicated a more liberal (or at least unconventional) outlook; which may or may not have translated to a relative promiscuity.
Now, it means nothing beyond having inked skin. I know a nun with a tattoo. She doesn't wear a habit (few do) but generally keeps it covered. It's not really out of character, consisting of 2 linked rings, on her forearm. Bride of christ and all that. I don't have enough appreciation of dermal art to comment on its aesthetic. | |

I never heard of this connection?
Well it's a lot more common among "young" guys than you would think. I think it's more that almost all the girls have tattoos so when the see them on any girl they think that they are easy, which I know first hand isn't true.
But his theory is all over the place. I asked him that if a woman had a tat that was hidden would she still be easy and he answered yes she would be, but the women that have the in plain sight are even easier than those that hide them. He's weird when it comes to tats and women. He will sleep with them, but he says that his wife must not have any because he wants a "wife" that isn't easy. He says women with tats that are over 30 are the easiest of all. He says they are no fun because they "literally" fall into bed with any young man that pays them even the smallest amount of attention.
As for me as long as she doesn't have a tat that is too big or her whole body covered, I can tolerate them. Some are good and some are bad. It just depends on the woman and the tatoo artist. | |

Easier to get along with? Easier than a woman without tats?, Easier to have sex with? Who knows...I supposed it would be a matter of what the tat was OFF to give any clue towards your theory. | |

No women with Ink are not easier than those without.. that is just stupid.
I got my tat (tramp stamp.. whatever creative name you want to call it) in front of my ex husband before my divorce to prove he didn't own or control me.
I also have my nipples and hood pierced.
None of which make me easy. As a matter of fact a person would not know I had ink or piercings unless 1 I told them or 2 we were intimate, it is not something I flaunt around. I don't give it up to anyone nor do I give it up easily, but yes I have a tat and piercings. Whether or not I sleep with someone is not based on the body art I have. | |

Posted: 1/21/2009 12:10:29 AM | Maybe the type of woman who will have a tattoo is more likely to take chances/risks not just with body decoration but in all kinds of other ways too. I know its PC to say that all people are the same but we aren't...some folks jump out of airplanes on a snowboard and some don't.
Are ALL women the same when it comes to risk taking/relationships etc? Of course not, so there have to be some slight generalizations somewhere..after all a tattoo on a woman's lower back is called a 'tramp stamp' right? ;-) | |

And this alone is a very good reason why someone like myself would prefer to continue to stay on lock down then to have to deal with men as shallow(no depth) as your friend. Posted: 1/21/2009 5:55:10 PM | I wonder if the number and type of tattoos may have something to do with it. If they have a lot of them, they likely have gone past the 'lets put something pretty/meaninful on me' and enjoy it for the endorphins.
I'm stating this purely from first hand stories and experiences. I have a few aquaintances who are tattoo artists who have had a lot of sexual encounters with there clients. The pain tends to make you all silly and snuggly and the next thing you know... There are plenty of people who have an addiction to tattoos, they save their money and can't wait until they go under the needle again.
All the women I know who have several visible tattoos are, um, more easy than others. Again, based on stories they've told me, not assumptions. Or maybe they are just more open about their sexual experiences (to anyone and everyone, even total strangers), so they seem easy.
I would never get one because I plan to live to 125, and anything I get now, or later, will look pretty damn awful by then. And I truly have never liked anything enough to want to have it attached to my body every moment of my life until I'm dead. | |

So it's gonna make me "easy", huh?
My first guess was "Yes" but after reading some of the replies I decided to investigate to see for myself. I did a search for single mothers ages 18-21. Obviously, as a group and compared to single girls, they have proven to be easy. I looked at the profiles of the first 20 with photos. I only found two that definitely had tattoos or piercings and most didn't appear to be they type that would. Now their photos don't prove they don't have tattoos. Nevertheless, the fact that I could find tattoos in only ten percent is strong indication that girls without tattoos may be easier than girls with tattoos. | |

Posted: 1/22/2009 5:26:16 PM | Definitely not. I have a friend who wanted a tattoo of a butterfly and a buttercup flower on her ankle and though she looked fantastic, she definitely was not one to sleep around.
Of course, the whole tattoo thing just means she is willing to show more of herself - aka, being more comfortable about herself and how she looks. I know/knew more women and men whom had no tattoos sleeping around a lot more than women and men who had tattoos. Then again, we can attribute that to ratio of tattooed individuals with those who don't have them.
Ultimately, this is a matter of the individual and not the stereotype. | |

It's honestly 50/50 about this theory. The point could be made that women who have tattoos have a bit more of a wild side or party side or whatever side you wanna call it, and are up for something fun/new. While girls without may be prude about sex.
However, something similar could be said of the opposite. A girl without tattoos could have a rather large sexual appetite while a girl with tattoos has them because she's just into body art. | |

So in the event that a POF intial meeting goes terribly wrong and I happen to get dismembered If anyone finds a leg or torso floating in the allegheny river they will know it is mine ...
Other then that sorry NONE of my eight very large ones make me easy .. but my next appointment is wed to start on the rest of my back piece so it is healed before summer .. who knows maybe I dont have the correct Ink to Slut ratio in my blood???? | |

Does a Tattoo make EVERY woman easy? Absolutely not.
COULD a tattoo show a more open philosophy on life, a more open availability to sex compared to the average person?
COULD a tattoo mean they might be a little wilder and party and love sex?
COULD a tattoo mean that MAYBE just MAYBE they LOVE attention? Lets be real here tattoo's on the small of the back ARE to seek attention and draw attention, even if subconciously.
Don't look at it as an individual, is it possible that as a whole women who get tattoo's just may be more likely to be open to sex at an earlier timetable than those that don't? If nothing else you know they are up for something new and a little dangerous, a tattoo is quite an endeavor.
This is correllation not cuasation, but i don't find it so hard to believe that people that are open to body art just might be statistically less closed minded about sex. Is it really that hard to believe? | |
