am gonna have to agree with you on that and im an experienced single mum of ten years and in all this time being the mum of three myself i have had the same problem on holidays and days out granted mine are older now 1o, 11 and 14 but it still amazes me to this day how little understanding we get for doing one of the hardest jobs in the world and how they have no idea on the struggle we face dailey doing it alone and then contradict themselfs with advertisement saying child friendly all welcome and sneer at us when we arrive one parent to 3 or however many kids especialy in this day and age they should compensate for the fact that there is a lot of families in the same boat and most dont have both parents or any1 to help i certainly dont and never have had any1 willing and thats 1oyrs of doing stuff to suit every1 else as we become a health risk and all i want is a break anyway il moan all day bout this if i could as it gets my back up and not just swimming....

I don't see how a safety rule is hurtful or embarassing??

I know that there might be some question about a single father with 3 small girls.. but there should be a family changeroom that you can use. The limitation is there to protect everyone. A swimming pool that is busy and full of active screaming kids is a difficulty to watch closely. They are only protecting themselves and you.

It's all about ratios... I only have two, and have never run into this.

it's obvious that mickuandme has never been to ireland or he'd know that you'd freeze to death at the beach, even in the summer lol. Ignore all those who think you're bitter because your relationship only ended a month or so ago. I'm a single mum of 4 aged 14,10,8,7 and i take my youngest 3 to the pool quite often on my own. At no time have i ever been told i needed someone else with me to help supervise. Also, i'm a classroom assistant, and previously worked in a primary school. 1 teacher, a swimming instructor, and myself to supervise 30 children. Obviously, you have been discriminated against.........go get 'em..........can't have one rule for one and another for someone else!!!!
