So people, how would you react if your date said that they were use to dating someone better loking to you?
Unbelievable! I think I’d like to go with one of these two replies:
I guess one could say "Wow, I was just thinking the same thing about you but I didn't want to be a jerk by saying it out loud."
Or
I understand completely. I'm used to dating someone smarter than you." Then I'd kindly ask, "what became of that better looking someone? She decide prostitution was a step UP? "
If only I could be that quick on the uptake!
Regardless of what I’d say, the date would end very quickly. After all, I wouldn’t want to keep the poor guy form his better-looking prospects any longer than I had to.
Guys, honestly. Monitor yourselves!

Staying with someone who says things like this, you can count on hearing other degrading comments thrown in your face every chance they get. Mental abuse is just the start of worse things to come... GET AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN AND DON'T LOOK BACK! | |

Posted: 6/21/2009 7:58:34 PM | I dislike shallow people ... if a girl said that to me the odds of her recovering from it would be slim at best. I for one have dated a range of girls. Including one who was an amateur model which after a while though seemed mature at first began to prove the contrary. If I make any comparisons to someone with people I've dated in the past ( which is unlikely ) it'd be that I was relieved they weren't as petty and immature as certain others ( certain immature attitudes are annoyingly common ).
I definitely wouldn't be too likely to go any further with the person. I don't judge their appearance, they shouldn't mine. Attitudes like that show that they have a fair bit of growing up to do. | |

He told her that he was that way because he was use to dating women "prettier" than her.
... several men HAVE said this to me through out my life. From High School to this day. Either on the first or second date. USUALLY it is proceeded or followed by "I have no idea why I am so attracted to you". They go on to tell me that there is "something about me" that is not my looks that has them interested in me.
The woman looked stunned and didn't say anything else.... The guys apologized, but I think the damage was done.
Yeap... that is the moment that I am thinking to myself that I'd rather be home, eating a meal I made myself, watching Ghost Adventures and feeling really stupid for venturing out on yet another pointless date. | |
